  • You are going to need a lot more calories if you are breastfeeding twins. THEY take everything away from you and you aren't getting what YOU need. I eat lots of protein to fill me up for hours. LOTS of baked chicken and pork chops (mostly chicken though) and sometimes lean beef. Then eat low-calorie veggies to go with the…
  • I had BEEN sick of looking at myself for a while, but I just didn't do anything about it. Probably due to all the Tegretol I take for Trigeminal Neuralgia-it makes me soooooooo tired. Well, in mid-May, we went to the beach. I had to buy a big one-piece swimsuit with the skirt around the bottom. I felt HUGE! THAT was when I…

  • OMG!!!!!!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!
  • Everything in moderation. You can have chocolate, but you have to work the calories off in your workout. Trade it in for yourself like that. How much are you willing to work out today? Then you can have that many calories in chocolate. Also, you need to be logging everything you eat. It makes it SO much easier when you can…
  • I like to do mine on Friday so that if I want to have a cheat day on the weekend, I still have time to straighten it out by the next weigh-in.
  • Hang in there. I am currently 14lbs down aiming for 23 more. Now I have a damn hernia and it's going to be a good sized cut because of the good sized cut I had from my gallbladder surgery years ago. It's up high and right by my diaphragm so I won't be doing anything for 6 weeks according to the surgeon. Seems like every…
  • I accept them and if they are an *kitten*, then they will be deleted. So far no one has been one. :-)
  • The only reason I would delete anyone is if they were a mean, hateful person. I will be going away in about 2 weeks because I am having surgery. I don't know how many days it will be before I feel like coming back. I have also decided that for the 1st week after my surgery, I am not going to worry about my intake AT ALL. I…
  • I do, even if it's a cheat day and I know I will go way over. However, I may miss a couple of days in about 2 weeks because I am having surgery and I may not feel like logging anything.
  • You NEED to have a cheat day every now and then where you eat what you want. I have my cheat day on Friday after my weigh-in. I also cheated yesterday too because I was at a benefit softball tournament and it wasn't possible to eat right and it was a LONG event. 10am-9:30pm. I am back in the saddle today and will be until…
  • Yes that is true. There are some brands that I would have to go to a damn size 15-16 or maybe higher, but others that I can wear an 8 or a 10. I usually just stick to my Levi's and I am currently in a 10.......hoping to get in a 6 before it's over. :-)
  • LOL! Drinking DOES sound good.
  • My grandson had a SERIOUS aversion to fruits and veggies because of the textures for a long time. If we made him take a bite he would gag and scrape his tongue with his fingers. He has finally gotten to where he will eat apples, canned peaches and mandarin oranges in water, and he likes carrots and sweet potatoes. We still…
  • NO way I would try this. You might lose some at first, but you will go into starvation mode and you will stop losing for a while. It's better to lose at a nice, slow pace. Most week, I only lose 1-1.5 pounds and that's fine by me. No way I could even move if that's all the calories I at in a day.
  • All my husband does is work. He works 4p-2a Mon-Thurs and I work. 8a-4p Mon-Fri. Then on weekends all he does is work outside. To him, it's not working, it's relaxing. But that's ALL he does. He does come in and play with our grandson for a while in the evenings. Then he crashes for a while, then wakes up in the night and…
  • Oh, on the onions...........I use 1/2 regular and 1/2 green onions.
  • This is a great post. Thank you for posting this. I feel the exact same way. LOTS of hateful people. This is supposed to be a place for encouragement. And if you give advice and they don't like what you say or try to give an excuse, all you have to say is "I don't know anything else to tell you." OR just don't respond back…
  • It's in my crock pot right now! :-)
  • I am a WW convert too. I was too hungry on WW. I could lose on it, but got too hungry.
  • Since you just started, it may take you a few days to come up with foods that are more filling for you. You are welcome to look at my diary and see what I eat. I am not hungry very often using this app. Sometimes I have to force myself to eat more calories in a day. Just go thru mine and see what I eat and try those…
  • You look awesome!
  • People that see you every day may not notice before someone that only sees you every couple of weeks or a month. Hell, I couldn't even notice that I had lost myself. But my hubby noticed because we don't see each other except for the weekends because of work. I work days and he works 4p-2a.
  • I am on 1200mgs of Tegretol per day for Trigeminal Neuralgia. I HAVE to take it or I would have severe electrical and stabbing pains in my jaw (enough to drop me to my knees). I am pretty sure it slows down my metabolism. And mine is already jacked up from being hypothyroid. I am extremely tired a lot and really forgetful…
  • Only if you're throwing them constantly, non-stop for 20 minute or more, LOL! And I DON'T think the dart board can handle that many darts.
  • I am unsure if MFP is correct on the calories burned either, so I don't eat many of them back. If I have been really active that day, I might eat up to half back. If it's a "slower" exercise day, I don't generally eat them back.
  • Great job! I don't like the bashing on the forums either. I haven't worked out since my grandson was born in Nov. '09, largely because I have to help raise him and he is a very needy and hyper child. He STILLS gives me hell when I try to work out, but I am making sure I do it now. I was feeling so weak, like I had no…
