This thingy is addictive, I can't take my eyes off it. LOL

"How interesting that you pointed this out today. I am wondering what's going on for you right now and how you feel now that you have told me this". I tend to think that, what people think of me is none of my business because it's about them and their constructs. It doesn't mean that what they say is untrue or that…

Fantastic website!! Thank you.

Love these ideas! I normally add the fruits still frozen so it's super refreshing. Mint, lime and blueberries it's my favourite :)

I like really simple smoothies. I keep a stash of frozen fresh fruits (I buy fruits, slice them and then freeze them myself) and blend them with coconut water. That's it. Not ideal if you want up your calories intake as these are really 'light', though! My favourites: strawberry, blueberry and blackberry. Other times I add…

ECOS is good, but you cannot find it from the shop, you need to buy it online. I use it in smoothies with frozen fruits, yummy and all good stuff in there :)

I've run consistently at 7.5 kmph during the training, and always accelerating up to 9kmph in the last 2-3 minutes in week 6-8. I then adapted to 7 kmph in week 9 and my 'graduation' 5k run. This should be 4.6 and 4.3 mph respectively, therefore a pace of about 13-14 minutes per mile. Gosh, hearing how everyone here feel…

Love this article *pun intended*

Run 5K today, with a pace of 7kmph. It will get better, but now I am just happy to be able and run the distance. :)
-
Thank you everyone :) Today I run 5K and very very good feeling, happy and proud :)

Graduated today.

Graduated today. All training on treadmill / time - I will now repeat last three weeks on distance, aiming at 5k outdoors by end of August.

W9 D1 done. It was incredibly hot - like, the sweat was just pouring out every pore omg I was dripping - but I made it!! YAY!

Really nice article. I love the concept of 'inner newbie'!

I literally just bought a Geonaute ONrhythm 410 progress - this will be my very first HRM. Good luck! On a side note - I did a bit of research before buying, and there are a lot of half-negative reviews about the most basic model of Polar because there is only one button and customers report this as being too fiddly. Maybe…

Keep posting your progress! What kind of program do you have in mind for your walking and to prepare to start the C25K? I agree that it's really an amazing running program, I would have never thought I could get out of the bad feelings about myself and my body when I started, but it's happening every time I push myself to…

W8 D3 done and I pushed myself to a higher pace. And then pushed some more. Yay!! Nearly finished!! Starting to think about how to progress afterwards, I would like to introduce weight lifting rather than exclusively a running programme like now. Maybe I can incorporate the two and gently start working towards a 10K?

W8 D2 done.
-
Can you please explain what you mean by that?
-
Congratulations!!

W8 D1 in the book. Yay! Yesterday hopelessly drunk at a work conference and this morning the training felt a bit sluggish with the hangover. But. I. Did. It.
-
Congratulations!!

W7 D3 done, yay! Completed without issues, and I actually increased my speed in the last 4 minutes, and then pushed at 9kmph in the last 60 seconds... Look forward to next week, yay! Also, great improvement because I trained every second day for week 7, something that I have never been able to do before. I always had to…
