Thanks so much. I listened and took notes as well but got very confused. My take was that high triglycerides meant that I was not burning fat and that my thyroid was impeded. I just read the interview that canadjineh provided. Chris Masterjohn stated: "...if you’ve been losing weight don’t even look at your blood lipids…

I lost 20 lbs since August - I had not realized it was so much. I just checked. My hormones are going in various directions. I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and a pituitary microadenoma and have recently increased my thyroid medication dosages and added a third one. My TSH was still higher than desirable although my Free T3…

I was afraid of the toads which were abundant when I lived in Texas; they jumped everywhere I tried to walk. My ex-husband gave me the name.

I am keto (mostly) and hypothyroid. It has improved my lab numbers but I am not necessarily feeling better. I have been able to consistently lose weight on keto where I cannot with any other way of eating. I just started seeing a new endocrinologist last week and started taking Armour in addition to recently increased…

Great news @KeithF6250 !!

I have been taking low doses of levo and lio (T3) for several months and both were just raised. I am still not feeling better. I saw a new endo yesterday who will be starting me on Armour and in conjunction with the others. I had tried Armour in the past with little success but I was on a very low dose of that.

I actually ate one this weekend. I was still running a fever from my throat infection, so maybe I was a bit delirious? Needless to say, it was awful!

I just finished reading The Obesity Code and it resonated very deeply with me based on my own journey with weight gain and loss and Type 2 Diabetes. It also pained me because I spent many years being verbally abused by doctors and given insulin and sulfonylurea drugs, told to eat a low-fat, high-carb diet, consistently…

I'm thrilled for you too @ProCoffeenator !!!

I too had a pattern of binge eating pre and post keto. For me, the only thing that worked was to just not give in to it. It was difficult. I stopped trying to figure out why I was bingeing and just forced myself not to eat. I usually went to bed. I have not binged in quite a while. I wish you well with this. I know how…

I'm not having any dairy right now because of sensitivities to just about everything but in the past I had success with small portions of raw sheep cheese. It was very delicious! They say goat is okay too but I do not care for it. I would have about 4oz per week of the sheep's cheese without any digestive issues. They sell…

I have had the same experience and I find it better to just indulge. I usually cook up some bacon and/or chicken skin with salt as a treat. Maybe I am just craving salt? Either way, it has had no impact on fat loss and usually only lasts a short while.

You are on the right path with your plan. My only advice would be to log your food, read the resources in the Announcement section and reach out if you have any specific questions. You will lose fat and build muscle this way. You will lose fat with your change in diet and build muscle with the strength training but it will…

I am being treated for a pharyngitis (throat infection) with antibiotics and Tylenol and it seems to be working. I am feeling much better today. Very tired but my fever is gone and I am able to eat. I have been indulging a little bit with comfort food that I usually avoid but not too crazy (dark chocolate, egg roll, White…

When you go to a build your own pizza place and just get the meat toppings...yum!!

No multivitamins for me either. I take D and Magnesium in addition to a probiotic. I'm also trying HCl to improve my stomach acid.

I'm feeling much better today. Low grade fever, no appetite, but aches are less. I slept almost the entire day. I was a little delirious when I first posted. Fiancé came home and helped me last night. He keeps trying to give me juice bless his heart! lol

My experience with fasting is to say yes to Thursday. You're not going to want to eat more than a cup of broth. It varies for me. My broth if from boiled chicken with salt because of gut issues. I boil then simmer leg quarters for 4 hours. You may want to add ACV and additional fresh herbs to make it more yummy. Good luck…

You're not going to experience consistent weight loss each week or month. I don't think Intermittent Fasting (IF) has a time requirement. I find that exercise does not burn that many calories to be used for weight loss per se but it does tone your body and build muscles that burn fat. Any swelling will subside and weight…

Magnesium citrate works best for me.

Great progress!!!

Week 3 may not happen for me :( I'm being treated for an infection and have been put on bed rest. I did my 1/2 hour walk today while feeling miserable...just got home from Urgent Care. I'll resume when I'm feeling better.

Missed riding my trike yesterday because of weather. Otherwise, met all goals.

Thank you so much @froyseef I saw angels bringing me prayers when I was in a coma and on life support following a near fatal car accident 2 years ago. You message today helps me so very much to get through this. TQ

Thanks all. I had a fever of 103.5. Went to urgent care. Taking antibiotics until I can see a specialist in a couple of weeks. Will split my medications until then. Will try to stick with eating plan.
