Hi, I was 33 when we discovered I had stage 1 grade 3 breast cancer Estrogen Positive. Bi-lateral mastectomy in August 2013- just wrapped up my 8th surgery in 15 months. Ready to get all the weight I put on in this process off. Now 34 years old and I have a solid 50 months to get off me.

Add me as well. Age 33, two small children and stage 1 grade 3. I had a bi-lateral August 19th 2013, no chemo but several complications which led to a total of 8 surgeries in just under 15 months. I gained a ton of weight through the process, as well as my supportive hubby. I would love to motivate any of my "pink sisters"…

Congrats! I had several complications and ended up with suctures along my entire "breast" my implant has swung under my arm and things are literally stitched to "hold together" until i can get my levels back up for round 2 of surgery where fat will be placed to fill in the gaps and hopefully give something for my implant…

Thank you

With the exception of weight restriction...I'm healed for now. I continue with reconstruction in April and my plastic doc said "it would help if you got back to a normal weight prior" real ego booster.
-
Do you think calories can be too low?
-
Thank you

I'm an old weight watcher and really ocd about using the scale to measure things. The only thing I'm eye balling are my apples. GREAT tips--- THANK YOU!

Thank you for starting this thread! I was dx July 3, 2013 (I has just turned 33 years old.) Had my dbl mastectomy August 19th. I am in the midst or reconstruction. My husband and I just said we gained more weight from cancer than we did we our two pregnancies. Good luck to you all. In my thoughts.

Okay, I half did it. I mostly worked out 4-5 times a week rather than 6 days every week. I now know I need to eat 1200-1300 calories a day to lose. I have lost a grand total of 25 pounds all together but that's only 13 in our 100 day challenge. Still have a long ways too go. BUT I HAVE NOT QUIT and I keep on trucking.
-
April 1st. Still getting in 4-5 works outs a week, have bounced my calories all over the place but not much of a weight loss this month (maybe a 2 pounder???) I am seriously bumming out I wanted to be down 9.5 more pounds by April 1st. I had a 10% goal by my birthday which is week away and I am very doubtful I will make…
-
Still going. Haven't had as great of results as you. But I am still trucking along.

LOOOVED level 2 and lost three pounds in that week. i am on day 5 of level 3 and I force myself to "do-it." Most of it I don't feel like I am doing it correctly and wonder if I am actually burning calories. Start level 4 Sunday, can't wait for the change.
-
Started January 1st- I am down 21 pounds but it doesn't seem to be going as quickly as I would like it to. I have about another 30 to go (hopefully by July).

BUMP

Soooo frustrated. I upped my calories to go with the BMR recommendations rather than MFP's standard 1200... and I think it backfired on me. I have lost a big fat ZERO since March 1st. I wanted to be down to 220 by March 1st and then 210 by April 1st, right now I am still hanging at 222 and I am becoming very doubtful that…

Rough week. I have been down for the count with a nasty stomach flu. I ache all over and I haven't workout since Saturday, but honestly I am so dizzy it really isn't safe. I will get caught up, hopefully soon.
-
I am bumming out. I stick to everything and this time I have had the nasty stomach flu for three days and have missed my workout. I feel an ache to get back but I could just be achy all over? Keep it up ladies- I WILL GET CAUGHT UP, promise.

Thank you. Heard her on the video but haven't visited the site. Thanks for sharing.:)

I need to lose 12 pounds this month that would put me down a total of 30 by April. That will leave April and May for me to drop another 15-20 and then BABY MAKING time.
