How about making a non-brunch type committment for the weekend mornings? i.e a hike with a friend, an exercise class etc. 1 - burn calories 1st thing in the morning 2 - May help not drink as much the night before if you know that you are committed to doing somethign active.

For me it depends on the type of upset I am. I have found that if I am stressed or need to work through something in my head then running is a great outlet for me. I agree with this. I personally don't take anything during training runs under 13-14 miles. I take water with nuun in it on runs longer than 10 miles usually. I do however take a honey stinger gel about 15 minutes before I do a long run. I am generally out the door between 6-6:30 (even on weekends). There is just no way I…

My new favorite are the Zoot Sports Ultra Running shorts 3". They are very soft and have a wider waist band which I like. I bought them for the marathon I did in April and had zero chaffing or riding up. I wear a sm or medium in most shorts. I found these run a bit larger and the small fits perfect.
