  • awesome!!!! Everyone should have that attitude every day!
  • I say wear it and rock it. I live AT the beach and you are completely normal. I wish everyone to get to a point in their life that they just don't care what others think. People are ALWAYS going to judge you by something. Whether it be your weight, your face, what you are wearing, a tattoo......a zit......... the patch of…
  • Put it simply: If you eat at a deficit and aren't lifting it is a big mistake. The same goes for not enough protein in your diet. You will burn your lean mass at huge deficits without these two elements. Lifting and adequate protein will preserve lean body mass. (although you will probably still lose a bit, you can greatly…
  • I think you look awesome! You looked good before but now you are smokin' hot girl.
  • bump for later..... I want to try with coconut or almond flour since I can't have regular flour.
  • Congrats!!! I love the snarky little face in the red outfit. Awesome!
  • Any guy who can make me laugh, has something to talk about, is confident and secure is my guy. Sure, I have preferences in what I am most attracted to but there is a wide range. Guys who can melt me just with a smile. Bonus points awarded to: bald no ED I don't even care if they are taller than me anymore as long as they…
  • so now we have to have shoes just for lifting? I have absolutely zero problems squatting in my running shoes and using my heels to drive.
  • thank you newbeg1ning ... glad I found this thread. I think the whole30 thing is great to target foods that might cause you problems, unless it makes you crazy. It does make some people crazy.
  • So, your gym is really filled with smart people. I'm one of the few at mine who doesn't. The movements just feel soooo unnatural. Just my opinion of course.
  • seeing someone with bad posture reminds me to check mine. Bad posture is a sure fire way to look 10lbs heavier than you really are. I think it is training the mind to do it automatically. I mostly do because I think bad posture is so unattractive. Sometimes I think people got stuck like that. LOL.
  • I think you should divorce him. Immediately. How dare he get injured in the middle of your plan. LOL. of course, I am only kidding.
  • please please please send my your butts. :) I will give you my little thighs.
  • yay. happy to find this thread. I saw the one for 50+ but not quite there yet. LOL.
  • I will never ever understand why anyone cares about what someone else is wearing, to the grocery store or otherwise. gah...... I am one who refuses to spend my energy on meaningless stuff like this, especially when there is no real impact on my own freaking life. If outfits like these have caused you to seek therapy, well…
  • I don't deal with criticism of any kind really. I am not afraid to use my sharp tongue and anyone who knows me is well aware of this. I'm 46, it is my life. Truth be told, if I wanted to see my family really happy, I would run out and gain 100lbs. Seriously. Even my own mom is jealous of me being in shape. It is really…
  • "Can't" isn't a word my kids are allowed to use. I'm a tough love-er. You CAN if you want to. Just like my kids and sports: it takes practice and determination.
  • Congrats! This is awesome and I am so glad to hear it. This isn't about anyone but you anyhow. ;)
  • definitely compound lifts. Abs are made in the kitchen.
  • This! BTW, I see anorexia mentioned a lot. Binge eating is also an ED. Both drive me crazy and are things I just don't understand. This is just as much about a healthy mind as a healthy body and I see a lot of people failing to recognize that. People know what they have to do yet are somehow unable to do it. Mind boggling…
  • For me it is calves. Small calves and ankles. Triceps too but not as bad. edit; I got it. LOL
  • Seriously. Why do people think it is absolutely fine to express to someone that they think they are underweight? It happens to me all the time. My response these days? "Go eat your donuts, I'm off to the gym". Is it ok to tell someone who has been gaining weight that they are looking overweight? I think not. Chalk it up to…
  • I couldn't agree more. When people ask how I could do this to my kids I retort with "do what?, get out of a bad situation so I can be happy and be a better mom?" Seriously, no one is doing their kids any favors by staying in a bad situation.
  • This. If there is a planet fitness near you, they have free trainer sessions with a black membership, it is $20 a month. People stare and watch everywhere you go, not just the gym. I try to be discreet but I check out the guys at my gym too. Yeah, thats right, we women do it too. Maybe you are hot and that is why they look?
  • and I know plenty of women who cheat on their husbands (who aren't in open relationships) and I think they are equally disgusting as the men who do it. There is never a good reason for lying and betrayal. Cheating has nothing to do with gender. I have guy friends who use dating sites and they always tell me how many of the…
  • an open relationship is not "cheating" because you have permission. I know plenty of couples with open relationships who are very happy. They aren't lying and deceiving each other.
  • There is NEVER a reason for cheating. Ever! If your vows did not specify an open relationship, it is the lowest form of lying that exists. I can think of at least 4 other ways to handle issues in a marriage.
  • I completely agree with this. I also want to mention that judging runs both ways. The thin, healthy and fit society may judge the obese and overweight but the same is true with the overweight/obese judging thin & healthy people.
  • awesome!!
