12 lbs lost is NOT a trivial amount. I bet you have built muscle too.

O I C I am late to the party. Congratulations on reaching this goal and starting a new career. :drinker:

Interval training is great. Remember to take a rest day before the day of the timed run. In general, inter-mix hard days with easier days. Easier days can have intervals with fast periods.

You prove that slow and steady weight loss with a fitness plan makes for a sculpted body.

My shadow looks less like a blob. I can see collarbone.

I have tried to focus some of the eating energy into food preparation energy. Finding recipes, shopping for the foods, preparation. I am sure your friends will eat whatever you cook. You bring the home-prepared food, they chip in for the groceries. Also, a healthy gourmet is REALLY appealing to the right women.

I can imagine how great it feels to hit this milestone. Keep up the great work! It really shows.

Hi. I am much older at age 52. I try to be active. I went over 200, but you can see from my ticker where I am now and want to be. I am only 60 day on MFP and my new program. You look great! All - add me if you like. I was 5'10" at my highest point.

Do you cook the quinoa first?

Zumba! I am looking for inexpensive DVDs myself. I can't do stationary equipment; I get bored immediately.

Feel free to add me. I lost that 100 lbs. of baby weight long ago. Now, at age 52, I am battling the menopause fat. I am a working professional, single mom with 3 kids in college. I just started jogging and cycling. I wish I could swim more!

Common advice is to eat frequently to avoid starvation mode. Search. You will find.

A friend was successful on Lose It. I became addicted to Android apps, and found MFP to be my center.

I love this. Gonna try it!

I only like clean food. :explode:

I enjoy tracking my jogs with Runtastic or Endomondo. I am 52 and struggling with knees and Achilles tendons.... but as a youngster, I was a sprinting track star. Intervals are key. Couch 2 5K rather uses them. Run a bit, walk to recover, run a bit....

You have hit a plateau. You many need to change it up. You may be in starvation mode and actually need to increase calories. Hang in there. Help is on the way. Our experts should be chiming in shortly. I found a link recently to Fat2FitRadio.com that shed some light for me.

Bravo!

My old knees like cycling and swimming over jogging.
