The people I know who are hooked on it and the kids I know that grew up on it have puffy bodies. :smokin:

Check out the 5:2 that is all the rage over the big pond. I did my first low cal day, and I think it is right for me.

We all have surges and slumps. Just stay the course. What goes up, must come down - and then up, then down, then up....

Look at your numbers - nutrition. My son told me I was binging (while not hungry) because I had gone too low on protein. I think he was right. (Don't tell him that.) When you log everything, you can see protein, sugar, sodium levels, intake trends.... everything. I have not yet been wildly successful, but I have learned…

I am past the anxiety phase of my life (age 52). Let us know how this turns out. I think you are wise to exercise that extra energy.

Welcome back! History is not important. You are here now with goals. I wish you well.
-
You can do it! You are so young, when you do, you will look like you were never heavy. Find friends, motivation, and support here. Find a plan that works for you, and stay with us.

Wow! You must feel like a new person.

Emotions run deeply and affect body image, eating, all sorts of things. Being fit is more challenging for some than others. Never give up on what you really want. Better health comes with fitness.
-
You look great! I can't believe only 12 weeks. Did you blog it?
-
Looking good!

Welcome! The great thing about MFP is it works with any plan. I am rather new. I am 52 years old. I was once thin and athletic, but am now NOT. Add me as a friend if you like.

Do some research. I have never let my kids have diet soda. Think chemicals. Read some studies. I belive they cause weight gain because of the body's reaction.

You look great! Good luck on the next goal.

There are other free calorie trackers, or you can just google. Lose It counts housework, gardening, vacuuming.... Some days, I am on my feet all day puttering, and others, I am sitting in a car or at a desk. It makes a difference!

I just grind garlic pepper on mine, and I love it! A nurse told me recently that I should eat no more than half an Avocado per day. So what do i do with the rest?

21 lbs. is a HUGE accomplishment. You are on your way!
-
Wear it with confidence!

You can put your measurements in here. Go to check-in. It has standard measurements, AND you can add your own. Then, it is another way to track progress.
-
I see a difference! You might want to take measurements. I was amazed that when I had only lost 6 lbs. it took an inch off my waist and 4 inches off my hips. I could NOT see a difference. My exercise was paying off. (I would have preferred to lose it all around my waist.)

I can't wait to achieve what you have! Your hard work has you shaping up beautifully.

O yeah. The superman emblem is SO appropriate.

I have a friend WAY over 300. She can hardly walk, but she has amazing flexibility and always has. You may like Yoga or just stretching. I always recommend getting in the water where you can move freely without stress on the joints. I enjoy playing with floaty dumbells and using them like weights. I also like to pedal and…

You are on your way! Keep that motivation!

Dreams really do come true.

I could use a friend! My kids say I am very positive. My daughters have much higher self-esteem than I had when I was young.

Every effort in the right direction brings you closer to your goal. Way to Go! :flowerforyou:

I am very anti-caffiene. Elimate stimulants. If you are taking diet pills, they could be the bad guys. Don't stress about it. Soon, your rhythms will adjust to your new exercise regime. When you can't sleep, count your blessings instead of sheep.
