Congrats on your masters!!! Sounds like you are on the right track with what you are cutting back on. Adding activity is great for yoru health- but for weight loss, really it is 85-90% diet. My suggestion is you focus on eating lean proteins and veggies as much as possible- that will def. help with weight loss. :)

Hmmmmm. I am going to need to try this!

Well thanks. :) Progress... not perfection. Glad you find it so. I take a lot of comfort in being a part of a community where we all "get it".

Awwww. I am just gonna let that soak in for a minute--- feels good! TY! As I approach the "other side" of my 40s I am finding it increasingly less scary and more rewarding to just be who I am. I cannot say I always have that much bravery to be genuine in every moment- but I am closer than I was. :) You have also shared a…

OMG that is SO funny---and totally ME. I am 45 and I have the boobs of an 85 year old. Oh well, there are worse things in life! :)

Congrats on being in the next "phase"! Check out this website---- http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ She has TONS of pureed food recipes. :) Enjoy!

Yay! You were approved! Did they give you a nutrition program to follow? Logging your food on MFP could help, too--- you can get an idea of where you are intake-wise and where you need to be in order to have 15 off by July.

OMG so totally NORMAL. Nervous is expected. Trust your medical team and breathe. All will be well. :)
-
WOOHOOOOOO!! You are looking FABBY!! :)
-
^^^^THIS^^^^^. I would think being hungry 4 hours after eating only a yogurt would be totally normal. :)

I look HORRIBLE naked. HORRIBLE. My boobs literally hang down to my stomach. Everything sags, wrinkled skin--- it is BAD-- but I am not intending to have plastic surgery, so I am just going to have to learn to live with it.

Ok, so you got a little side tracked. It happens. A LOT. I know my anxiety really goes up when I feel like my cravings and eating are both off the rails. My suggestion? Commit to protein first at every meal and commit to keeping your carbs mad low (30-50g/day) for at least a week. This could help reduce the cravings at the…

SUPER!!! Huge progress!!

THIS^^^^^ and I want to add... I have never found "@ss kicking" to do anything except make me feel bad. You do not need shaming, or to be "guilted" into taking care of yourself. Compassion towards yourself can help. It is expected as you reach certain new milestones you could experience anxiety and make food choices that…

That is AWESOME. I am finding myself able to do things I could not physically do before as a huge motivator! This past weekend I ran a 5K with minimal training--- no WAY i could have done that pre surgery. :)

Stalls happen. Very normal. Keep following your nutritional plan. Constipation also happens. Very normal. I use Miralax. Congrats on being sleeved!

Ouch. Missing dear ones at the holidays hurts. My only suggestion is maybe you could connect with a fellowship friend or two for your own celebration of sorts? Hugs to u!

BTW, if you do end up owing, they have to let you arrange for a payment plan- they cannot come after you if you make a good faith attempt to pay-- and that can even be just $50 a month or whatever you can swing. Hopefully you do not have to pay anything, but in case you do, hopefully it won't break your budget if you get…

SUPER!!! Very exciting stuff!!

Thx.... should add it to my list of "talents/special abilities" on my resume.... "Able to put "the girls" back in my bra while laughing and running without undue exposure" BAH HA HA HA HA HA!

WHy thanks-- it took some "finesse" but I got it done! :) :) :)
-
KILLING. IT. You are doing FABBY!! 100 gone!! WOOOHOOOO!! Hope the bug leaves soon and you are feeling better fast. :)

Deal! LOL Not wearing one is NOT an option for me, but y'all go on ahead if that works-- and the onesie is a terrific idea! Glad you found pants that work. A few months ago I was on the t-mill at the gym and my pants started falling down- mid run! Crazy!! :)

It is funny how when we get used to eating a certain way, eating "whatever, whenever" loses it's appeal pretty quickly when "tuned in" to how the bod does/does not like it! Hope you had a nice time. :)
