Try with different shoes and see if it still hurts. Changing shoes is what fixed the same issue for me.

But do you wipe it down after you use it?

Holy cow, you're like a real life super hero!

Play sports with your son! Throw a ball, go for a hike, do an exercise dvd together, have a DDR competition. He's at a pretty easy age where he's old enough to do any activity with you, or to stay home alone for 30 minutes while you go for a walk/run.

The maroon one is super cute, but you should go up a size on the bottoms. They look like they're cutting in a bit.

Yikes. I would love to be able to go back and change every answer in this thread to say: "Yes - that is entirely too much for you. Please get help".

I use mashed avocado instead of mayo, and add slivered almonds. Yuuuummmm

I'm wrapping up "The Book of the Unnamed Midwife" and its pretty awful. It came very highly reviewed, and I love dystopian stories, but this one really gives zero credit to humans - men in particular.

@MeeseeksAndDestroy , how is this? I'm wrapping up a book now and looking for something new.
-
@denversillygoose I love that book - and I agree that it is super creepy. When you finish tell me what you think about the ending. A lot of people didn't like it, but I loved it.

I meal-prepped a DELICIOUS Jamaican chicken chili on Sunday (with fried plantains). But now I'm on day 4 of eating it, and I'm starting to hate it. Lol.

That kid looks nothing like him...

There is a set-point for steps based on activity level. I'm not sure what it is for each, but I know that I have mine set at "lightly active" and it doesn't start adding calories to my daily allowance until I hit around 6,000-7,000 steps for the day. I think when I had it set at sedentary it started giving me extra…

I only ask this because you mention smoking and alcohol, but did you previously drink heavily? My husband is an ex-heavy drinker, and it messed his stomach up pretty badly. He also belches A LOT every time he works out even slightly. But I agree with others that you should see a doctor just to get checked out.

You won't lose fat without a calorie deficit, and you won't gain muscle without a calorie surplus. If you're ONLY interested in losing weight, and don't care about retaining muscle (which I wouldn't recommend), then just stick with any run-of-the-mill cardio (treadmill, elliptical, etc) to increase your calorie deficit.

+2. I also use UD all-nighter and it stays on forever. I squeeze some onto the back of my hand and then apply with a stippling brush and that stuff DOES NOT come off my hand until I've washed them about 3 times with soap and water.

It depends on your starting weight and height. If you are very light and short (and older) your goal for a 0.5 lb/week loss may be 1200 calories. The system won't allow you to go UNDER 1200 calories, so if something like 600 or 800 calories a day are needed to lose 2 lbs/week, it would default up to 1200 calories.
-
What is your activity level set at? If you have it set at anything other than sedentary, it could be making a negative calorie adjustment if you aren't active enough.

Posting a "typical day" and showing one Monday of logging isn't going to give us any insight. You're not being specific enough with your logging, and I'm guessing you're undoing it all on the weekends. A "bacon sandwich" could be 250-1000 calories. "A few beers" could be over 1,000 calories. "Brunch" could be 2,000+…

Chips with queso. And NO, I couldn't just "fit them into my day" because the amount I would want to eat wouldn't fit in anyone's daily calorie allotment

Can you open up your diary?

We have very different interpretations of the word "fun".

I agree - for some reason the "act like a b!tch until they leave" plan only makes them hold on harder.
-
Wow - that's a huge loss for 7 weeks! Congrats! (And please make sure you're losing in a safe manner - sorry, it's the "Mom" in me that is concerned).

3 pages into a political post and I haven't seen the word "snowflake" used anywhere... it's like the Twilight Zone.

There's an entry in the food database that gives you an extra 500ish calories per day, which is just a guess, but better than nothing. Note, this calculation assumes you are exclusively breastfeeding - if your baby is older and eating solid foods, or you are supplementing with formula, the number would likely be lower.
