It's been a long time since I went to church, but I seem to remember as a kid that the point of Lent is to NOT eat meat... at least on Fridays, correct? This seems super backwards to me.

Pfffft! Are you really going to trust Yale Scientific over the OP?

If you can't run the 5 minutes straight, then yes, you're definitely running too fast! Slow down - it should feel fairly easy. With that said, it sounds like something is way off with your app. C25K week 4 is a 5:3 run/walk interval. If your running pace, is really 9:18/mile, and your average of the 5:3 interval is 14:40,…

I'm comfused how telecommuting makes it HARDER to fit in exercise... OP, what does a typical day look like for you?

It could just be water retention if you've just started (especially considering how many times you're going), but this has been discussed before and appears to be a somewhat common issue: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1389527/orange-theory-fitness-gaining-weight

You will not be "a big muscular person" if you eat in a deficit. Building muscle requires eating MORE, and training for a very long time. Also, it sounds like you may be overdoing it a bit on the cardio. Don't make the process too miserable for yourself, or it'll be easier to fall into bad habits. As Malibu said, look into…

Caramel delites (or Samoas - different names depending on your location). My daughter sells them, and has done so well going door-to-door this year. I feel like a lot of GS don't do that anymore.

My oats are 141 calories per half cup. I've never heard of one as high as 300 calories. Are you sure that isn't for a whole cup? What kind of oats are they?

I will eat tortilla chips with salsa until I hate myself.

By the way, that race sounds amazing. Wine mid-course?! Makes me want to take a road-trip.

She did say that she sets the incline to half-way, which is a high incline. So depending on her weight, 150 isn't impossible. OP, the most effective thing for weightloss is a calorie deficit. Exercise is for overall health, and a minor boost in calorie deficit. If you enjoy walking, stick with it. I think the best exercise…

I don't think you mentioned this, but how far can you run NOW? Regardless, every 5K I've ever done has a lot of walkers - even ones that are listed as "competitive". You could shoot an email off to the race director asking if walking a portion of the 5K is acceptable, but I'm sure they will say that it is. The most…

So nice to see that you completely ignored everyone's advice in your previous (very similar) thread where the LARGE MAJORITY of us told you to stop contacting him.

I just go to the gym completely naked from the waist down, but it's ok because I wipe off the bench when I'm done.
-
Have you tried lifting heavier with fewer reps? 100 squats seems like way overkill, and may be just causing your back to hurt from being in that position for so long.

I think going at lunch sounds like your best bet, even if it is the lesser of 3 evils. Consider it a temporary adjustment you're making to deal with having an infant in the house. When the little guy gets older and more independent, it would be less of a burden for your wife to get him ready in the morning and you may be…

If you really wanted to see him you would have made time. Sounds like he is much more interested in you than you are in him, so you should probably cut things off completely to spare both of you future aggravation.

I tore a tendon and ligament once in my ankle. After 3 days rest I went to the gym every day with my orthopedic boot. Lol. For cardio I did the stairmaster and elliptical. Weightlifting I could do pretty much everything but squats, so I substituted step-ups. Talk to your doctor, though, because I'm an idiot when it comes…

As others said, this is likely water weight due to your new exercise routine. Although you may be getting stronger, you're not "gaining muscle" at 1200-1500 calories. The water weight should subside after a few weeks

All of the ones I like are 250-300 calories :(

I'm also nosey af.

"Offended"?? That's such a weird choice of words. No, I have never felt this way. I work in a very male-dominated field, so whenever a woman interviews or is hired, I'm pretty stoked to see a little more diversity.

Complain to management. And KEEP COMPLAINING until they do something about it.

M-F 5:30-6:30. It's my morning religion.

Is there a limit on how many slices you're allowed to eat? Because if I do the math.. PF is only $10/month. And I'm absolutely certain I could eat more than $10 worth of pizza.

Great job! And nice ink!

It sucks that he drove off, but I think (per the law) he actually had the right-of-way. If you're making a left, you should yield to the person making a right, even if there are multiple lanes. They're not required to stay in the far right lane when making the turn so that you can turn into the other lane at the same time.…

I love my job! If I won the lottery I would probably keep doing it, but maybe cut down to part-time so I would have more time with my kiddos and to volunteer.
