Ditto! And no jewelry either. I know it probably doesn't make a difference, but oh well.

I love the extra validation that comes with having friends on here...just a "woohoo!" can make me feel great all day when I post a weight loss. It also keeps me motivated to see other people logging losses and eating well, and I feel guiltier if I think about giving up or eating something I know isn't good for me. I also…

This is my special one-eyed-girl, Ember. :)

Mine isn't terribly serious, but I'm still trying to heal up a bruised tailbone...it's driving me nuts not to be able to workout to my full potential. I sat down too hard on the floor last night during a workout and nearly cried. I sympathize!

Sounds like you might need to have a chat with your friend about how unsupportive and non-friend like that is to say. And here is a six-pound fish. You lost this! Show that to your friend next time. Or simply ignore them and know that you're doing an awesome job!! Keep it up!

I never get tired of that little gerbil picture. So cute!

Feel free to add me! I always like having more friends on my list to motivate and who motivate me. :)

Man those are gross to look at. So glad I'm getting rid of them! Thanks for that. :)

You live in Nampa? I'm from Boise and live in Moscow! :) Good for you for telling her off. Idahoans kick butt.

I've had eczema since I was born, and I've been using small amounts of prescribed triamcinolone cream for upwards of 7 or 8 years with no harmful effects. That's just me though. I have a nickel allergy, so I use it where it breaks out on occasion. With that said, make absolutely sure you shower after swimming, and lotion…

Every time I go shopping I think of this: "If it doesn't have a mother and it doesn't come from the ground, it's processed food." Helps me not pick up things I know I shouldn't be consuming.

I'm in northern Idaho...does that count?

Gizmo Wright. I bet I'd get some calls.

No problem! And great job making yourself do it! That's huge.

You'll be glad to know this too! A few days before and during the time you are menstruating, you do burn more calories due to the additional cellular activity taking place internally. Some female metabolisms may increase up to 15% during this time due to hormonal changes and loss of blood. The increase in metabolism can…

In addition to all the things suggested here, I have eczema so I naturally have problems with dry skin, and I use Gold Bond Shea Butter and it works wonders. But do make sure your nutritional needs are being met as well.

I hate that the two sides of my body are DISPROPORTIONATE when it comes to my stomach. It's like my own personal before and after, and I know it won't go away until I lose quite a few more pounds, but it pisses me off!! If both sides looked like the left, I would be so much happier looking at myself in the mirror.…

Hahaha. YES.

Are you drinking enough water? Showering after working out?

A mini-skirt. I've always hated showing my legs because I've been overweight my whole life. I want to show them off without feeling self-conscious someday.

This was right when I first got it, two years ago in August. It's my dad's initials in a newspaper font. He died when I was 12, and worked in the journalism field, which is what I do now. Going to get another when I hit 30 pounds lost in honor of another family member who died last month. That one will be a stargazer lily,…

I went there earlier this month and had salad with dressing, TWO breadsticks, spinach and artichoke dip and salmon. I watched what I ate for the next few days, and still lost a pound by the time I got home because I had exercised and stayed below on the rest of my foods. Proof that a splurge will likely not demolish the…
