I'm the same, I have a healthy BMI and don't consider myself heavy at this point in my life (10 years ago that's another story), most people tell me I am "skinny", but I have tummy pooch and it drives me crazy! Everywhere else I am happy with, but it takes a lonnnng time of eating right and working out to even notice the…

July 7: 1.6KM July 8: 4.58KM Question....what about canoeing? Can we count that? If so I have a few more KM to add.

This a million times over. If my synthroid is off even just a bit I pack weight on and am too lathargic to do anything. When it's right...it is not much of a factor at all in my lifestyle (fairly active) or health and fitness. I have been on some form of thyroid replacement since I was 11 and have Learned to recognize when…

I'm mostly German, but with some English, from apparently a royal lineage, but too far back to matter. Got darker completion from somewhere, but being adopted don't have much knowledge more then 1 generation back.

I hate gyms, so I haven't stepped foot in one since high school. My fitness is all outdoors until winter, and then it suffers. In the summer I run 3 days a week, walk every day that I don't run, and go canoeing and hiking as much as I can. In the winter I just do Zumba and Pilates. (DVD and Kinect). I also use the internet…

"hey so I actually need my laptop back...and since you haven't paid for it yet, I'm sure you understand, I'll come pick it up tomorrow". Then post it on craigslist. Anytime I give someone something without getting the money first, I assume they won't pay me back...so then its a bonus if they do. I look at it as "if I am…

Nice work!

As has been said on all the posts about cheat days before....some people can do it, some people can't. Some people its a day or meal or over-calorie amount that helps them not feel restricted, but can maintain self control. For other people, too many cheats are what got them to the weight they didn't want to be in the…

building muscle? water retention? simply a plateau where you might gain or lose a few lbs daily/weekly but are staying fairly constant over a longer period of time? Measure yourself and see if there's a difference in inches not just weight.

My Husband tells me that he prefers no make up...but then I get a lot more compliments and a lot more cuddles when I wear just a little bit...my theory is that guys like girls who are feeling confident and sexy and for a lot of us girls make-up helps us to feel more attractive. But that's just a theory.

My 'cheat' day is simply a day I don't log. I still try and make healthy choices, I just don't worry about it if I have that one extra drink or check to see if I have room for ice-cream. I would say its more of a "real life test" day then a cheat day...a day that I have to make the decisions without the aid of looking at…

Maybe reverse the sit up # with the crunch # if you find crunches easier on your back? Or bring your knees up to your chest while lying flat rather then your back up?

Sounds like she's trying to use you to justify her own unhealthy habits to herself. Remind her that you are trying to change your lifestyle to stay healthy and take care of yourself and like was mentioned....buy your own food if she won't back off.

2-3 hours isn't really that long...not saying its healthy, but I know when needed (road trips etc) I can hold it for upwards of 8 hours if I have to. Chances are they are dehydrated and being active just don't have to pee as much as you do. I wouldn't call them out on it, but I might get out of the pool after a…

I'm here. I have about 5lbs to go to be at my ideal (after years of weighing more and less.....128 seems to the number where I feel good, look good and have to stay healthy to stay at.)...but those last 5-10lbs are definitely challenging me! (I'm 27 in BC Canada)

Hey I take it the ab challenge is based on the ab challege in the posted picture. I know the picture is quite small, here is the url for a larger version of it. http://beinggemma.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/30-day-abdominal-challenge.jpg I am on day 1 for the 3rd time in a month, so hopefully with the start of a new month…

Hey if its working for you, kudos! I have seen people post about taking breaks from logging (like a month off) to see if their lifestyle has changed enough to not worry about logging as much when they come back or if they still need to log to keep them on track. Might be something you want to try (or not...just a thought!)

Ditto.

I'd like to join in if its not too late! My goal is 75km in July.

This. And fwiw I'm with them. If people fit things into their diet that they like...good on them, that's their choice, but I don't really know why anyone would ADVOCATE diet soda as being a healthy choice and suggest that other people should be drinking it to be healthy...maybe its not as bad as 15 bags of chips....but…

I'm loving celery right now, with or without something on it (just peanuts peanut butter, light ranch, when I have calories to spare.) It's becoming my goto snack at night when I don't have a lot of calories left in my budget but I feel like I need to eat something.
