I'd like to know about the water resistant monitor, as well. I know that Jawbone is supposed to be coming out with a band with a HRM but I don't know if it will be water resistant. I have a jawbone up 24 now and I love the product, their customer service sucks!

It may be the light, but I can also see it in your chest! Good job!

Seriously, 1 cup of pecans! You can definitely reduce that and you will drastically reduce the amount of calories and fat. Additionally, if you buy good parmesan cheese and grate it yourself, it will have more flavor so you can reduce the amount of cheese, as well!0

I had a Fitbit Force but the latch on the band didn't work right so I lost it! My mother graciously replaced my band with an Up24 and I love it. It is very accurate, more so than the Fitbit! The Fitbit gave me steps when typing and riding in the car! It does not have a HRM so I wear a Polar F7 when I workout at the gym. It…

I use the recipe builder. It used to be cumbersome but it has been updated recently and is much easier to use. You should give it a try!

I have a major issue with my right knee that prevents any kind of squats and lunges....any suggestions?

"Out of curiosity, how much do you think the Force was overestimating your steps and calories? Asking b/c I love my Flex, but I think it overestimates too. I try to hit 120% of my goal every day to compensate, but that's just a number I pulled out of nowhere. Would love to hear how much lower your Jawbone is tracking them…

For Earinabby, Was you instructor wearing the Jawbone in the pool?

I had the Fitbit Force which was recalled due to the skin rash issue. I did not send it back because I did not have a problem with it as other users have. However, the clasp on the Force was absolutely terrible! It easily became undone and fell off unnoticed. After receiving the Force as a gift I went on-line and read…

I am interested in the response. I, too, have been recently diagnosed with arthritis in one knee. The doctor, physical therapist, surgeon and ortho specialist have cumulatively recommended no squats (or just baby squats) without any repetitive motion (static hold), no kneeling, no jumping, no stairs...YIKES! They…

Great Post!

Excuse my ignorance, but what is IIFYM? It sounds like you and I have similar goals and am curious about what you are doing. Thanks!

Bump!

Absolutely....and I base this answer on emperical data! Two years ago I had by RMR tested by my doctor, you know, machines and all, and they determined that I was below average and that I needed to eat below 1200 if I wanted to lose weight. I have spent almost two years working at losing weight and working out and…

Great post....I need the help right now!

I go to Zumba at least once a week to break up my work out schedule. I am not a fan, but Zumba Nation has taken over the gym, and it is the only cardio class offered. I agree, it is very instructor specific. There is one instructor that I really like, but her class conflicts with a strength training class that I like, so I…

I'd love the cheesecake recipe as well!

Wow, that does sound high, what was your pace, were you running up hill? These all could affect your burn. I burn about 100 calories a mile when I run, on average. I have an FT 7.

Oh my gosh, I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw your post! I have been on track for a little over a year and have lost 77 pounds, I still need to lose 13 pounds. My hair has fallen out to the point where it is so thin that someone at work asked me if I had cancer due to the hair loss and weight loss. I immediately…

I currently weigh 160 and want to be 145. I have lost 75 pounds so far and have been hovering between 157 and 162 for about 5 months now and I am really frustrated...BTW I am 5'8"!

You look amazing!

I'm not really sure why people are so upset about this? For many years, about 20, I could not shop in this store, although my girls loved it and shopped there when they were in high school, and yes, I paid the bills. The only reason that I couldn't shop there was because I made bad choices and as a result, I was too large…

Bump to show my husband!

Your story is amazing!

Honestly, you can do this. When my work out partner (who is amazing!) and I started, we were out of shape and overweight. We started by doing 20 minutes on the elliptical three days a week. We gradually progressed and started trying new classes to mix things up. The first time we went to a Group Strength Training class we…

OMG, I think you read my mind!

I have to ask about extra/saggy skin. My goal is 100 pounds, I am down 71 at the moment, and man does my skin sag! Do you have that problem? If not, what have you done to avoid it/fix it?

You are always and inspiriation! You look great!
