numbers don't lie, my friend.

are these people, by any chance, heavier set than you are?

I thought someone would die from only 600 calories a day. Anyway, if you want your body to be a calorie burning machine, you need to increase muscle mass. and in order to increase muscle mass, you need to eat more calories. do not fear the calories. in moderation, they can be your friend.

If you were to take supplements, start with protein. If you were to continue on, take creatine to increase size. and if you wanna blow up your workout, take a pre-workout. Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein Promera Sports Con-Cret (creatine) Cellucor c4 (pre-workout)

same thing happened to me over the weekend. spent 2 weeks on a calorie deficit and lost 8 pounds. took a weekend off and ate bad. came back on monday and i was 5 lbs heavier. It was likely the sodium and water retention. so i drank over a gallon of water yesterday. i didn't starve myself, in fact i had a slice of pizza. at…

what a great workout it is. But you are going have to let him leave you. He has been doing it for a while already, which means he can finish a workout more completely. Go at your own pace. It's all about hitting your own PR's.

diet and exercise. and it doesnt happen that quickly. otherwise, liposuction.

I'm going to have to agree with the majority here and say that your logging is not as accurate as you think. You may be consuming more calories than you think but justifying it by logging it as less calories than it actually is. My advice is to make more food at home, log it, so that you can get used to the portions you…

All the better to prove them wrong. If, no WHEN you stick to it and show them results, you will change their opinions. You have something to prove to them but more importantly to yourself.

I knew someone who was on the special k diet, although he would never admit to it. For weeks all I ever saw him eat was a special k bar and special k protein drink. It didn't seem as if it were working as I saw no change at all.

lol i dont think she means that special k...

Hi. Epic weight loss. I ran my first 5k last month and signed up for another on this month as well. I've never been a runner at all, but staying consistent and getting those miles in really did the trick.

Thanks, guys. Its gotta be water weight right? I'll be holding the gallon of water by my side for the next two days. It's just that, if you pay $40 for a buffet, you'll want to get $40 worth of food! its an investment lol...

Breakfast is a good time to have a lot of calories, especially if its after a morning workout. If you think about it, you would spend the rest of the day day actively burning them. More importantly is having more carbs in the morning for the same reason. Dinner could be the heaver set protein meal.

In regard to your second question, change your goals. literally lol. go to My Home > Goals > Change Goals Now you can play around with that ratio. i personally put it on 40/35/25 for carb/protein/fat. what i did is that whatever macro goals IIFYM.com gave me, i tried to match it as close as possible by playing with those…

its difficult to truly determine how many calories you really burn in a day. So deciding the amount of calories to cut takes trial and error. Personally, I started at "aggressive." Do that for a week. If you like it, then stick to it. If the weight cut is too slow, cut some more calories out.

I know youre getting a lot of feedback here but generally 3 - 4 sets in the 8-12 rep range is ideal in building muscle, having to really struggle on the last sets. if youre not struggling on the last reps, especially on the last sets, its not heavy enough.
-
i am no expert. but, a good way to decrease body fat is to increase muscle size. Generally working in the 8-12 rep range and probably decreasing the amount of weight you are working with so that you can get those reps in. I'd say 4 or 5 sets of 8-12 reps is great for muscle hypertrophy.

The workouts are insane. You'll just keep asking yourself why you're doing them while youre doing them, then congratulate yourself after lol. its a love/hate relationship, just like exercise should be.
-
hi! are you tracking what you eat? weight loss is about the calorie deficit. so if you track how many calories (among other things) you consume in a day, and your weight loss is still a little slow, then cut a little more out.

feel free to add me too. I'm new. I feel the pressure when i think people are watching lol
