There are a lot of nice kids out there. I meet a lot of them on my five mile loop around our small town. They are on their way to the pool, skateboarding, riding bike, roller blading or just plain hanging out. Most smile and say hi. I hope to never have a hurtful experience like yours. We have several thrift stores in our area. All are over-priced except the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Savers and Goodwill have gone from nonprofit to for profit with huge price increases. We have a couple of local owned thrift stores with great prices. I still donate to Savers to get my 30% off coupon.

I am 54 and went from 230 lbs to 140 lbs in 18 months.

I am 5'4' My starting weight was 230 lbs. I now weigh 140 lbs and wear a size 4, 6 or 8 depending on the style/brand. I am happy with maintaining my current weight.

I decided to splurge and have bread pudding for dessert at Famous Dave's. It really was huge and delicious. Got home to log it and found it to be 1400 calories!! Glad I enjoyed it because I won't have it again.
