I am planning to gain about 10 pounds, continue to log my food daily and run a half marathon mid - late 2014.

you need to add cardio to your work out routines. no cardio = no weight loss.

coffee w/creamer, total cereal w/almond milk and oatmeal w/banana or blueberries.

my cousin sells herbalife, but I personally don't use it. you can achieve better results by eating nutritious meals and exercising. it's another money generating scheme for someone else. don't do it.

I try to eat up all my calories so I'm never in a deficit. if I gain 600 from exercise, I will eat those right up! NOM, NOM, NOM! The numbers in MFP are all wrong so you don't want to use those. Your burn rate is going to be different than someone else's. I have a Polar heart rate monitor that I use when doing any…

I don't know how someone begins to log in food that other people prepared. I pigged out today and would guess i'm at around 3000 calories. I did not log my lunch because it was prepared by others, but here is what I had for lunch: 3 cups of punch, vegetarian meatloaf, some other vegetarian dish (maybe vegetarian turkey), 2…

dude, i feel your pain. i'm in the same boat. i eat about 2800 calories to try to maintain at about 150 lbs. my doctor told me not to work out so much.

i'll eat any kind except sugar or pork.

i'm 4 minutes into season 1, episode 3 and this gal does not eat carbs. i like to think that my diet is "well rounded." i consume on average around 2800-2825 calories a day. i have to eat that much just to maintain my weight. i gave up pop, but i do have a couple of fun size pieces of candy to maintain my sugar level and a…

i don't wear shoes on carpet, but do wear shoes when working out on hard wood floors.

i feel your pain! and for the most part, i do not fall to temptation, but i do indulge a bit here and there. i agree with a lot of what everyone is saying. why are you with this dude? you're putting him up on a pedestal, but it sounds as if he isn't doing anything for you. drop the zero! get with someone that shares your…

i'm in like flynn!!!

i have 2 boys (7 and 4 years old) and raising kids is the hardest thing i've ever done. i've lost a total of 25 pounds.

i don't take any supplements. i'm doing it all natural so i get all my vitamins and minerals from the foods i eat. i pop a couple of ibuprofin when my right knee hurts, but that's about it. i actually asked my doctor about a "weight gainer" shake cause i continue to lose weight, but she advised against it. nutritious food…

i experienced the same thing. i'm down about 30 pounds and seem to be cold all the time. i even raised the temp in my house by about 3 degrees. i just attributed it to the weight loss (like someone else said, "less insulation" and your not working as hard carrying that extra weight around).

hehe. tru dat!

I can't cook at work so I have to use instant oatmeal, plus I think instant oatmeal is much healthier than the sausage, bacon, hashbrowns and eggs that they serve in the cafeteria. my typical breakfast: 3 cups coffee/2 creamers 3/4 serving of zucchini bread 3/4 serving of total cereal w/about 1/3 cup of almond milk…

I don't want to lose anymore weight so I've gone as high as -516 calories and i'm still losing! :'( on average, though, i'm going about -300 calories.

I agree, haagen dazs is the superior ice cream. I also eat up some belfonte premium black walnut ice cream. someone steered me to magnum, a competitor of haagen dazs, and it SUCKED!!! haagen dazs all the way!

I read a few posts that said, "sugar is sugar," but that's not the case. I consulted with my friend who's a nurse, her mom's a dietitian and I just saw my doctor last week. all 3 gave me the green light on eating fruit as long as it's in moderation. I have about 3-4 pieces of fruit a day. on a side note, I found I was not…

when i first started running, i couldn't walk for about 2 weeks. my calves were really tight and really sore, but eventually the pain and soreness went away. taking it easy and rest was key. now my knees hurt. :^( like you i drink lots of water - between 10-12 cups on average. i stay away from sports drinks because of the…

i try to look at everything including calcium and cholesterol. i find that i tend to hit my protein and sugar count very easily so i've cut back on meat and junk food and fruit.
