  • Hi, my name is Jessica and I am 27 years old. I am a store manager, and work on the sales floor 5 days a week interacting with guest and running all over the place. It amazes me sometimes how much weight I put on leading such an active lifestyle. The last two years of my life my health and weight got so out of control I…
  • I've lost 82lbs and lost circumference, but not breast size :( I was rather disappointed. I went from a G to an F. But I really think thats more to do with lack of back fat than anything else and because I changed bra styles. I was a 52" around and now a 40" and there are so many different bra choices at the smaller sizes.…

  • I'm in hoping this can be made into a group. So hard sometimes to find these are threads :D
  • Today I put in my 7 miles. After mile 3, maybe 4, it all felt the same. It became an amazingly peaceful run and i found my zone finally. I am still noticing some pain in my hip and knee joint on my left side. Hoping in time that will fade. By pain its only every once in a while, I made sure not to push my pace today, just…
  • Today was one of my two rest days. I did walk about a mile overall though as I always wlak to the bus stop on my way to work and then from the bus to work. So I put in almost 2 miles total in walking today.
  • I am so getting this application on payday!! It looks like a great way to spice up your run. Since I love running it will be a great way to keep my laughing on the long runs I am doing now :D
  • I smile and wave. When I started running at 352 lbs I'm 100% positive people were going OMG look at that fat girl running, what's her problem. I run the same route, and pass the same people day in and day out. So I've been at this since June now, and people now, honk, wave, and yell keep going your doing great. Perspective…
  • Today was my first day back to running after a week off. I ran in three intervals, a 2.68 where I did 13 minute miles. Then a 1 mile in 12:22 then I ran a 3.1 (5K) in 40 minutes. It was a good running day back. Poor hubby pulled a muscle in his leg or I would have ran 6 full miles straight. He was able to get thru to a bus…
  • I really think it started with my health, then because I got pissed off because I was doing so well and I gained, then it became because I wanted to fit a pair of jeans Target sold now its because I really wanna outrun my husband.. lol an ever changing motivational moment, I'm ADHD for motivation. But I keep going..
  • great job! on the walk, may as well have been a run :D
  • Amazing job, and what a fun race to run in. Great times too!! You must be so proud of your accomplishments. I finally signed up for my first 5k. November 24th, its a color run to help build a new community center here locally.
  • Sorry I've been absent for a few days. Saturday I barely managed 1.5 miles. I tore out the back of my heel last week, on running shoes that were past their time. So I've been nursing my wounds so to speak. Since I'm on a half-marathon training schedule I bumped week 4 back a whole week. To replace Sunday's Run I did 30…
  • Today is my rest day. However, I will probably take a late night walk with hubby as I often need that good stretch to go to sleep.
  • I live on the foggy foggy northern west coastal community fo California. I definitely feel more alive on my sunny runs. There is nothing more refreshing than the sun on your arms and face. Yesterday was the first run in more than a week not done in the rain and although my time was slower I felt more alive during it.
  • Yesterday was my rest day. Today I am on Week 3 Day 3 of my 16 week half marathon training. I ran 6 miles in 1 hour 29 minutes 20 seconds I also walked up hill 1.5 miles and down hill 1.5 miles for 49 minutes 3 seconds My run times were a bit disappointing today but I know that in time and more weight off they should get…
  • Didn't mean to make a sweeping statement, just going with what my dr. said based on the amount of running that I am doing. I feel as if my run time is so slow but I am glad to hear that it is pretty good :D
  • Hi, I'm Jessica, 27, from California I started walk/running on May 29th as a way to loose weight. I began with C25K which I finished 3 1/2 weeks ago and completed my first 5k in 42 minutes, I am now down to 38. From there I decided to do half-marathon training and I choose a 16 week plan. I am currently on Week 3 Day 3 and…
  • my question is have you ever felt this pain before? i recently was fitted for new running shoes, a nice pair of nike's unfortunately, they take a lot of breaking in, before they could be running shoes, they had a much more pronounced arch then my other shoes and much like you I went out and tried to tackle a jog run, i…

  • I have lost almost 80 lbs since June 1st with a mixture of walking and running. This last month alone almost 20 lbs. My runs now are about an hour 4 times a week and are about 4 miles + long. I follow the MFP diet structure however I take 5% carbs and put them in protein as runners need more protein. My starting weight was…
