Whoa, careful with this advice. My ex did this to me. That is how he became my ex! Good luck, but be very cautious, this could create a very awkward situation at work.

Oh boy, I am so going to plead the 5th on this one...

1. Run a half marathon 2. Go zip lining in Las Vegas 3. Learn how to surf 4. Bicycle the west coast: California, Oregon, and Washington!

Sometimes. But I like romance novels. Only some of those can be classified as "book porn" BTW. If I'm in the right mood, I like one of "those" for a rainy lonely night. :blushing:

Congrats! Sorry about the injury, that really sucks. My friend got med-boarded too, and she is fighting her way to a balanced civvie life. I'm proud of your accomplishements: getting fit and being successful at transitioning to civilian. BTW: you are in great shape!

Depending on how often you run, this could be "runners knee", which is caused by poor hamstring flexibility, limited quadricep strength, placing increased pressure on the ligaments/tendons around your knee. I agree with new running shoes. I developed this when I started running more, and I used a "free run" type shoe.…

Hmmm, if you are doing this intensley, multiple times a day, then maybe. But that would be a lot of postings, wouldn't it? I mean, 5 times a day, plus factor in movement, intervals, shoes.... s**t. That sounds way too complicated. :drinker: But to OP, I know what you mean about deployments and TDY. Really interfears hmm?…

Butt.... at least that is what every guy has ever dated me, told me. :blushing:

Holly Carmichael..... hmm.... sounds like a regular person... lol

^This, I had no idea what that was! AND i'm still freaking out. I mean.... wtf!?!

I agree with the brushing teeth idea. I hate just about everything after that. I keep a bottle of mouthwash in my desk for that very reason. Plus, no stinky breath after lunch!

Nice! I love events like that!

I like this, just remind her to text you occasionally to let you know she's okay. Or, make it a play date at the mall, and invite her best friend. Then no worries, they will just giggle about boys, makeup, jewelry, and try on everything in the mall. :) Have fun picking an idea!

With walking there is no need for a rest day. Rest days are good for muscular healing and mental breaks from monotony. Just vary your walks. Go longer/shorter, go in a new direction. Go to a different part of town. Go to a park or walk along a river. Pick a hill. Variety will help you to enjoy the activity more. I love…

I just started with MFP this summer. I love this site. I like how it links everyone who is movtivated to become fit and healthy, or who desire to help others with their goals. The MFP'ers that are still here during "vacation" time, are going to be here consistently. No worries mate. You're not alone! :drinker:

I agree with everyone, you do not need someone toxic in your life. You are strong. Trust God to lead you in enriching your life. He will provide you an opportunity for love when you are ready. Just be open to it. Be the person you want to be, today, that is your choice.

I thought you were asking about how to cut the craving after meals? In that case it is the same as any other craving. Immediatley after eating brush your teeth. Drink a bottle of water. Go for a walk. Get away from coffee. Are you drinking 3 cups a day? After meals? Try to cut it to 2. I switched from espresso drinks to…

Lol. What a mis-representitive title! I thought this was for folks with large butts who don't give a s***! Which is me, definatley.

I'm in a hot place too. That's why i run at "oh the sunrise is pretty today" time. Just light enough to see, but no way it's hot yet. Thank goodness!

Give her a back rub! You look nice!

^ This. I focus on inches and BF% 2 times a month. But daily I pay attention to how my clothes fit when I get dressed.

My uncle did it. He lost some 20 lbs and has kept it off for the past 2 years.

^This. I thought I had a type too when I was younger. But that is because I was pretty sheltered. I only knew the guys in my high school. Now that I'm a bit older, I have seen different types of people. I realized that I am more into the person themselves, and whether we have chemistry, rather than they fit a "type". :)

Well then, I think I want to visit Mars....

Dude, i'm sorry. That really sucks. I tend to get FB messages from distant friends, calls to hang out from close friends, and an actual party with my family. Then again, my family tends to delay my b-day afew days until Thanksgiving. Hmm, maybe that's why the entire family shows up to the party.....

It's dehydration and most likely too little calories to burn. 3-4 cups is not nearly enough, especially since you are exercising so much. Double your water intake. Also go get your BP checked. That will show if you are dehydrated. This happened to me. It was after working the nightshift for my first week, and I collapsed…
