Nice to meet you. "Abs are made in the kitchen" is very real. Good luck with your nutrition journey!

2 scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and rice. Seasoned with green tabasco and salsa. My mouth is still watering...

I've heard that strength training your chest will help to increase the muscle behind your chest to give a fuller look. These exercises include pushups, bench press, chest fly's, and incline/decline pushups. You can specifically target upper chest with incline chest press. I hope this helps as i am working on this too after…

My fiance started out as a one night stand.... but he changed my life that night and we are wonderful together! So meh, go for it if you want to. Who knows what will happen?

Swooning!!!! Oh my, this man is my dream! I can't believe I STILL have a crush on him!

Lifting rucksaks (75 to 100 lbs) was strenuous and now only heavy. But i'm not strong in the weight room. I do bodyweight exercises like pullups and chinups. :drinker: Cheers to the heavy lifters!

Agreed! Maple Sausage because of the blueberry granola! Yummy!

Building lean muscle will help to fill in some of the sagging skin, in a healthy way. Lotion will help to hydrate your skin and drink lots of water. Then wait and accept whatever happens. Congrats on your weight loss journey!!!

I've tried no-carb, and that was difficult for me. I now do moderatley-low carb. Kinda weird, i know. I only eat one serving of complex carb at breakfast and one at lunch or dinner. I also dramatically increased my protein to feel full, and crave carbs less. Snacking with veggies helped moderate random cravings. As to…

Op: Is your mother pear-shapped? Mine is. I had to accept the fact that I am naturally shapped this way. So even as I continue to build lean muscle and improve my body composition, my thighs, glutes, and hips will always be shapped that way. But that's okay. I've noticed that men (in my experience) tend to like women with…

"Arm Exercises" is really unspecific. Are you lfiting weights? Are you doing cardio? Cardio will burn fat everywhere 9slowly), while building muscle will help to firm what is under the fat. Building muscle will also increase (over time) your metabolism, so just existing you will burn more calories.

Wait, Louisiana has the best food in the country?!? WTF? Why have I stayed in the north for so long?

Oh man.... this is why i brew my own with a french press. Yummy! AND at least 200cals less!

Hmmm.... every guy I have ever dated was an *kitten* man. This means, it is probably my most prominent fantastic feature.... right? :blushing:

Recalculate your BMR too.... you sound like you've lost BF, so this could change how many calories you are supposed to be consuming.
-
depends on your goals. If your goal is to lose weight, then no, don't eat them. Just eat your full BMR. If your goal is to maintain, then yes, eat your exercise cals.
-
Start measuring your portions, once you know that ammount, google conversions to the listed units here on MFP.

Wow, way to get it back and more!

My mom did this, and she still is doing it. She easily lost 20 lbs without too much exercise. Fyi: She was only 30lbs overweight, 55yrs old, and 5'3..... She focused on eating healthier, and to her that was fish and she included in that eggs and chicken. No red meats. :D Hope it helps. I'm super proud of how she changed…

I give myself a free pass on specific days. Then i leave it alone. i don't go super low the next day or anything. I think of it as a vacation. I try to keep it to one day a month, and i save it for special outings where there will be high-calorie items and a social pressure to consume. As long as you stick to your goal the…

Three months is a long time to be doing the same thing. Take a week off to do something lighter, let yourself heal. Go hiking, biking, whatever. Then start up with your routine. If you still feel discomfort or pain, go talk to your doc.

I used to hate running, but now i'm in the army.... :D. anyway, i'm from the pacific northwest, and the area out there is super pretty to run in plus, there tends to be no humidity, low altitude, and moderate temps. Just look into the surrounding area's so you can do "scenic" running, and let yourself just enjoy it. Don't…

That is wonderful! Way to go!

It helps if you take a few days each week to not focus on distance. For example run fast until you feel short of breath, then keep it up counting in your head to "10 one-thousands". Walk until your heart rate slows down and you can breath. Repeat. These intervals will help to build your cardio-respritory endurance. Don't…

:drinker: Agreed. Well said!
