Have you also tested your all day burn w/o exercise? You might be tracking the calories you get just existing, sleeping, eating, putting away groceries...etc. That might be part of the issue. And I believe the MFP-over estimation issue was with slow burning activities, like cooking, vacuuming, walking at a slow pace, etc.

Cold turkey was really effective for me. I cannot drink diet coke anymore. However, i went through horrible caffeine withdrawls: headaches, fatigue, and irritability. And it lasted an entire week. ^This^ Side planks are much harder because they only use stabilitzing muscles. I mean, how often do you really use your obliques? I have dificulty with them too, but it is worth it because side planks work an entirely different set of musculature.

Great job! I had a huge diet coke fix too.... had to go cold turkey though when I shipped to basic training. After I finished... i couldn't stand the taste! couldn't even finish one can!

I prefer real, heavy cream. It has fats in it, but it fits within my calorie goals for the day. Plus by using a dairy product you are getting "good fats" and calcium. Good luck finding a yummy coffee additive!

http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ I'm only 5 feet tall and female, and i'm eating 1300 calories as my base. Check out the IIFYM calculator, use it to check. MFP set my calories too low. When i used the IIFYM calculator, i set it a litte/no exercise, since i wasn't sure how accurate the exercise tracker was. Hope it helps.

Where i'm living, it is getting over a hundred degrees outside w/ humidity and altitude. I am trying to run more outside, and i found the ONLY time I can run without feeling like s**t is to run in the morning before the heat and humdity kick in. That's my motivation to getting out the door, knowing it will be way worse…
