Thank you! I'll try to figure out a way to better evaluate my calories burned rather than solely with my heart rate monitor's readings. I very much appreciate the explanation with a solid comparison and answering my question. :)

I'll keep that in mind. So should I be eating back half or all of it?
-
I do. I use avatar nutrition to monitor my weight and adjust my macros and calories based off of my loss per week. However in this specific instance since it's such a high burn I'm wondering if half is enough or if I should eat back more.

This is what the Targaryans do. They've been marrying close relatives for generations back to old Valerya. This is also why they were slowly becoming insane in theory and why the last dragons failed to thrive. If Dany had been born sooner she would have been married to her older brother Rhaegar instead of him being married…

1 hour cycling with high resistance and walking steep hills during a hike for 2 hours (climbed 150ft) during the hike. So any advice about he food?

Aw this makes me miss my quarter horses. Hopefully you guys will post up another next year when I'll be looking to buy again. Have fun out there for me guys!

Don't feel lazy at all! You can still be very active and lot under 10k, just depends on what activities you're doing. For myself I've been working on laundry around the house the past few days. So that's really very minimal walking time but I'm still busy. Or when I'm studying or reading - still busy just not in walking…

Hello! I'm working on it for the summer but I'm also going to be working on it during the semester as well since I've got 100lbs to drop. I'm a senior this year and will be graduating come spring - my goal is to be close to where I was pre-university/depression weight. Sending you an add now. And anyone else is welcome to…

I suck at hitting 10,000 steps since I'm depressed in the summer. But when I take my dog for a walk we hit ~9,000 after our 4 mile walk. Doing that once at night then again in the morning helps. Maybe set up a routine for daily walks. Either one longer walk before bed or after waking up or you could break it up into two…

I lost significantly. Nearly 20lbs after starting with no effort. Gained weight initially due to antidepressants. I have been diagnosed with PCOS since my teens when I was average/athletic weight. My doctor can see the cysts (and apparently an extremely high amount on one side and on the other side one is the size of a…

I'd love to be in. I'd love to be in House Stark since I live in the far north and run sled dogs it seems most appropriate. But I'd also be game for Lannister or Targaryen as second and third choices.

Aye. I am also a poor university student. I am lucky in that my fiancée works full time to support us while I work part time at the school. Chicken, tuna, eggs, frozen broccoli, cheap smoked fish, salmon (when it's on sale also I live in a fishing community so stuffs cheap), cheap pork cuts, peanut butter, rice, fruit, and…

I considered the charge HR but there are a few things that sold me on the blaze. First is the bands being interchangeable since I've read a lot of reviews about the charge's bands eventually breaking. The blaze offers HR monitoring same as the charge but many reviews have stated the blaze is very reliable on its accuracy…

What a clever idea! So I suppose I'm gonna give this a shot too :) JfT :: Wednesday June 17th 2016 - Eat with in my calorie (1730kcal), fiber (20g), and macro (30/40/30) goals. - Drink 12+ cups of H2O today - Hit the gym to start the stronglifts 5x5 program - Hit 500 calories burned as my target calorie burn during cardio…

Honestly if it's for your physical and mental wellbeing you shouldn't have to convince anyone of its worth. I'm a student fulltime and my fiancée supports us. If something is possibly within reason and good for me or her then we discuss it. During our discussion we cover what exactly it is we want, the relative cost of it,…

I'm up in Marquette in the U.P. For school currently. I'm from the metro-Detroit area. Love the Grand Rapids area!

I don't have one but I'm looking at the blaze. The bands are replaceable which also means different materials (surge can get itchy or cause irritation some reviews say due to the unchangeable band). I also wanted the HR monitor and I hear it's fairly accurate when put to the test against HR monitors. It's not waterproof…

Hello! Feel free to add. :) I have depression, BPD and AvPD. The depression gets worse in the summer oddly and I've been been fighting it tooth and nail this year. When I first was suspecting depression I was put on Paxil which encouraged me to gain 100+ lbs on top of giving me severe side effects. Fast forward 2-3 years…

I honestly rarely feel hungry and feel like I'm eating a ton. But if I ever do get hungry my first sign is a splitting headache. I think it's about the types of foods. If I drink my water (12+ cups), eat high fat and eat high protein I'm never hungry. When I eat carbs (which right now is moderate carbs) I'm eating veggies…

Don't be embarassed! Rock it! I hear weights and I hear lifting heavy can help a lot. Staying hydrated and keeping your skin moisturized is important. Also try to lose slow - gives your skin time to tighten up as you lose. But if you lost it quick no worries - just takes a minute for your skin to try to catch up. Might…

Hello everyone! Feel free to add me and I'm extending invitations to everyone. :) I'm hoping to drop 105lbs. I'm currently at 251lbs as of today and I want to be at 145lbs. I use mfp and mm+ to compare macros/calories between the two apps.

Dealing with depression at the same time. I emotionally eat so it's not a good combo haha.

I agree that that really depends on your fitness goals. :) Honestly you can never go wrong in my opinion with weight training and cardio together. Both are beneficial for different reasons and both can aid with each other as well. Feel free to add me if you would like. I'm still figuring things out myself but I'm always…
