I'm still trying to pick my next half marathon, I just did my first long-ish run today since the L.A. Marathon last month. My goal is to get my weekend long runs back up to 12 miles so I'll be ready for whatever half I might decide upon.

I started C25K in June of 2013, not too long after I started dieting, I would guess I weighed 270ish (+/- 5lbs) then. I had problems with my knees when I was swimming competitively a couple decades ago so I have been very careful about increasing mileage slowly. With that being said nearly two years later and I'm currently…

I prefer running first thing in the AM - it makes me get my exercise in before I can think of any excuses to avoid it. Though I have to admit that it sucks during the winter when it's both dark and cold out.

TJ's bruschetta sauce is my favorite recent find at TJ's. 40 Calories for 2 tablespoons and it's an awesome fresh-ish topping for my eggwhites or occasional pasta dinner.

Well I check in daily, though I don't consider myself super active in the forums. But when something does make it into the body media sub I do always read it. So if you're desperate I'll take the baton. But maybe someone more enthusiastic than me will want it. I'm here if they don't.

I will be there also, running my first half. See you there!

I find the key is to not stop moving until I've got my to-do's to-done, and that includes my workouts. Once the list is done then I can crash on the couch and nod off to the sounds of the evening news anchors.

Kudos to you for getting your run in. My general rule has been that if I'd be willing to walk or run to my car in the current weather I should be willing to run just a couple miles further. Now if the rain is coming down at the rate that my vision is possibly impair my vision... wait it out for a half hour and try again.…

I do all my logging on MFP and just use Body Media for doing activity tracking.

My wife and I both got decent, but inexpensive armbands from monoprice -- my only complaint is that out of the box mine was a bit tight even at its loosest -- it it has stretched out some.

Just finished w5d3... w00t!
-
Congrats on completing w5d3 -- I did w5d2 this morning, halfway through the first interval I questioned "how the hell am I going to do 20", near the end of the second interval I felt confident that 20 will be challenging, but totally doable when I attempt w5d3 on Monday.
-
Tomorrow morning (before the sun comes up) I'll be running w5d2. When I started I was in the neighborhood of 250 (I Haven't been too meticulous about recording weight, I figure if I'm eating right, and keeping myself active, the results will come whether I stand on the scale or not.) I can not state loudly enough, get some…

I have a 24inch display, please let me use it. 4 inches of white space on the left, and 6 inches on the right, I feel like I'm viewing things on a 15 inch CRT. (admittedly the old design was outdated, but this feels like a new-outdated site instead of an old one)

Finished w3d3 this morning before work, felt great except for the final interval, but I pushed it and look forward (timidly) to starting week 4 on Wednesday, that step up to 5 minute intervals should be *cough* fun.

First MFP check-in, but finished W3D1 a few hours and I already feel ready to run again.

We can split the dish, you can have the sprouts, I'll have the bacon.
-
I don't care how much bacon you put them in, I'm still not eating brussel sprouts.
-
I will be running w2d3 in about 9 hours -- feel free to add if you'd like.

In the last couple weeks my work out albums have been: Daft Punk: Random Access Memories Big Bad Voodoo Daddy: How Big Can you Get? Flogging Molly: Swagger There are some brief lulls in all of the above albums, but not enough to slow me down..

Currently using BMF with MFP anyone who wants to is welcome to add me.

I'm a big fan of the Britta water pitcher myself (The plumbing of my house is too old to attache one of the faucet filters (at least the size seems to be non-standard)) but this way the water in my fridge is always nice and cold and waiting for me.
