If you are under your calorie goal and fat and carbs I don't think it will really matter. I know that protein helps people feel more full and give them more energy, so I would guess as long as it is good protein it should be fine.

I agree, I have only been on here for six days now, but consistency does seem like that is what is needed to succeed. I still do understand how frustrating it is to not lose weight.

It is possible that your weight was just fluctuating, and who knows if you weigh yourself every day you might be down five pounds tomorrow since you went up three today and that might be accurate. Since my weight fluctuates I weigh myself everyday, but only really track my weight once a week. In the past I have freaked out…

I have worn mine, but like you said it isn't accurate.

I have a New Balance heart rate monitor too, and that seems very high but maybe accurate for your weight and height. Mine usually always has a lot lower number than the machines at the gym, but I heard that the machines at the gym aren't very accurate. As for what else you can do, well there are several things you can do the key is just to find something that you love to do, so that the time goes by super quickly. I personally love running, but I know a lot of people who say zumba is…

When I started running six years ago, what I did was use my ipod to help. I would make a goal like run for one song and then walk for the next. I kept increasing the number of run songs until before I knew it I was running for hours without stopping. Trust me once you get into running, there is no way you won't love it.…

Yeah, working out first thing in the morning is always good, and also they have like 10 minute solution DVDs that you might want to try. I believe they even have one just for abs if toning is all you are really looking to do at this point. You can find them at stores like Target. I hope this might of helped a bit.

I try to mix it up, so that I don't get bored. I always start with an hour running on the treadmill but switch between endurance runs (where I run for at least 80 min. then), speed intervals, and hill intervals. After that I do either 30 minutes on the elliptical or cross trainer and then 30 min. either on the stationary…
