I agree. Sometimes my heart is about to jump out of my chest and I get that bile sensation in the throat from lifting. If all I had to do was cardio, I think I would just resign myself to being unfit and out of shape for the rest of my life.

You can do it. I'm craving a pecan brownie, but I promised myself I would only have sweet treats on payday Friday/Saturday. I have another 1.5 weeks to go. I feel like I accomplished something and I didn't let myself down. Next week, that treat is gonna be that much better because I'll feel I earned it.

I tend to eat some nuts and a piece of fruit about 1.5 hrs before my evening runs. I've also tried PB sandwiches, though they didn't agree with my stomach as well. Whatever you choose, make sure its light but sustainable and that you eat it in plenty of time so it doesnt come back up during your run.

Depending on how much you're moving on your job, some days you may want to eat more. I would definitely start reducing the amount of soda and any other sweets, fried foods, etc if you're eating that as well. I think adding an extra day of weights is good too. Is your diary open? What type of shoes are you wearing? If there is a running specialty store in your area, go there and get fitted for shoes specific to your gait. Otherwise, stretch and hydrate. This should help alleviate the problem.
