Looking good. Keep up the great work.

What keeps me consistent is having a plan. I have to know what steps I'm going to take as far as nourishment based on my work activities for the day.
-
You look so much younger, healthier and happier. Good on you.

Stopped expecting perfection and beating myself up when I didn't "achieve" it. I consciously make decisions about what goes in my mouth.

I too have started running again. Developed PF in my left foot and it has had me sidelined for about 3 months. I suggest starting slow. I plan to use the C25K as a way of easing back in. As far as eating, make sure you're consuming some of your exercise calories back (maybe half) so that you aren't ravenous and losing too…

Congratulations!!! You didn't let your circumstances of literally sitting all day stop you from losing weight. You are the definition of discipline and consistency.

The main reason I removed the sugar content from my list. I was becoming obsessive over that red number glaring at me at the end of each day. I now just track carbs and focus on the simple ones. As long as that's under the goal, I'm okay.

I know the feeling. Didn't realize those were actually two slices in one. The pizza is now a treat for me and has to be planned.

Had to get a night time splint. I wear it about 2-3 hrs 4 times a week. It helps but there is still a dull ache each morning when I get out of bed. I hope this suggestion helps.

I make a monthly calendar with a mix of The Firm, Insanity, Jari Love and Jillian Michaels BodyShred. I like the fact thatir keeps my body guessing and me from getting bored and complacent. I also try to add 3-1.5 mi runs in during the week after work.

1100 may not be enough food for you even with MS.

Congrats on your loss and excitement. I too notice a difference when I reduce the amount of carbs, especially from the processed crap. And fat definitely keeps me feeling fuller and more energetic longer. Keep up the great start.
-
Done. Chest and back with a 15 min run at the end.
-
Alright now lady. I see you. Keep up the great work.
-
For me, 4am. Before work and before I get burned out from the day. I also notice my energy levels and decisions are better.
-
Congratulations to you. We all have started somewhere. And you did the hardest thing, beginning in the first place. Since it seems like you are only bringing it up because of how you might look while running, don't worry about the jiggling. Just make sure your knees and ankles are ok. I'm at 180 and still have knee/plantar…

Absolutely fine. I do weights first then finish off with a 15-20 min run.

Definitely shop at thrift stores as it gets expensive really quick. Also find a good seamstress and have your larger sizes altered. Especially for the stuff you don't want to give away.
-
What lifting program(s) are you using? Started with Crossfit but had to quit due to time/location issues and moved to stronglifts. Looking for another program as I'm almost done with it. Thanks

I too have lost, stopped, gained, rinse, repeat for over a year now. I tend to do the low/no carb which I've found is unsustainable in the long run for me. So I've decided to just eat sensibly, not denying myself anything but focusing on consuming mor healthy foods the majority of the time. Elimination diets do not work…

Congrats!!! I too am getting to the point where I will not hang on to larger clothes "just in case I gain the weight back". I am determined to maintain a healthy weight.
-
Academy Sports, Target, TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall's are my go tos.
-
Having to face all my clothes that still have the tags on them. I refuse to spend more money on larger clothes when I am capable of releasing this weight and getting into my cute clothes.
-
Congratulations on making the decision to rededicate yourself to your health and welcome back. Take it one meal tracked, exercise completed at a time. You will get there.
-
Love the turning a negative into a positive.
-
Great job. Healthy eating and working out. That's the "magic" formula.
-
I too am a FIRM believer. And yes they were light years ahead of their time. So glad to see that you are focused on the using what works for you, especially when we're bombarded with the next best quick fix that turns out to be a waste. I'm in the FB Firm group as well. Look forward to motivating and chatting with you over…

I'm in for 40 as well. Goal to reach by my 40th birthday. Add me.
-
Yes. It's so difficult to find the drive to exercise.

Also, what's your calorie goal for the day? If 1200, you may need more. Do you tend to eat a lot of carbs? If so, try halving what you're eating now and substitute with a little healthy fat, veggies and some fruits.
