  • Way to go! You are inspiring me to get a move on this morning. I'm back too, after gaining back the 10 lbs I lost in July (uggghhh).
  • I like greek yogurts. They can be non-fat and are thick & filling and usually have more protein than regular yogurts. Cut up some fruit and a half serving of low fat granola with it. / Kashi heart-to-heart instant oatmeal is filling and has less sodium than other brands / Frosted mini-wheats with vanilla soy milk / whole…
  • Mel! Don't give up hope. Try to look at each meal and see where the calories are coming from. For example, a sandwich at lunch time - take the same filling (meats, etc.) , but only use one piece of whole grain bread, not two (that saves about 100 calories, but you still get all of the fillings). Also, if you cut back on…
  • Stick with MFP! Put it on your bookmark tab at the top of your web browser, so you can always find it easily. Stock the fridge with fruits, veggies and flavored waters and tell your hubbie to put the sweets away somewhere out of reach. ;) You can do it! It's one small step at a time. Best of luck in your journey!
  • Thanks a bunch. It really is helpful having the feedback from everyone. Hope to be in touch soon with good results! Jenni in Atlanta
  • Thanks so much for the encouragement. Right after the posting I went and did a half hour on the bike and a few crunches. Feeling a little better now. I'll keep on with the MFP site for inspirational people like you. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • Hey there - This is my second go-around with the MFP site. The first time I did pretty good for a few weeks and started to lose a few lbs just by changing my diet. Got off track around Easter time with chocolate bunnies. Hopefully this time around will really stick. I MUST lose at least 10 lbs before a beach trip…
  • Yes, very tasty. Also, for other options, you could add a little juice to a seltzer or diet-Sprite for some variety.
  • Also there are flavored seltzer water's which give you the feeling of drinking soda because they are carbonated.
  • Hi Bec! I'm new also. It seems we have similar goals. I also have two little ones and hope to get back (within 10 pounds) of my wedding weight. I've really enjoyed tracking my food over the past week. I hope to add exercise in next week once my basement work-out area is ready. Nice to meet you! Jenni :flowerforyou:
