I agree with Guamy in finding time (and energy) to do other active things. In fact, Shaun T said his test group for T25 ended up being so happy with getting fit that they WANTED to do other activities like walk, hike, ride bikes, etc on the off days (weekends) and other times. Doing T25 daily motivated them to live more…

Early bird like me Chet! Energy comes from a good balance of complex carbs and a steady blood sugar level. For sustained energy, try eating 5x a day: 3 meals and 2 snacks. Break up your daily calorie requirement into those 5 meals. Make every snack count - with a good carb/protein/healthy fat balance.

I never really noticed that. I, too, have been using unsweetened almond milk a lot. I am presuming it is because almond milk has fewer grams of protein and more grams of fat in comparison to 1% milk.

I'm doing Gamma and just started week 3 and I LOVE IT!!!! It is the perfect amount of cardio, core and weight training. I use 8# & 10# mostly, but 15# for the back exercises, upright rows, and some of the bicep moves. I'm switching dumbells often as I usually start heavy but have to swap out when my muscles are exhausted.…

FYI Beachbody actively pursues piracy of their products. But dang $24? Is that you in your picture Calleigh? You look amazing!

I'm on GAMMA week 3. I lost 14 pounds on it, which is over 10% of my body weight. I love it and can't wait for P90X3 in December.

I have been doing Shaun T's T25 for 13 weeks and have been VERY happy with it. 25 minutes 5x a week is totally doable with my busy schedule.

Definitely shake today off and start fresh tomorrow. I, too, found Insanity very difficult and it hurt. I couldn't stick it out the whole month like you. I have been doing T25 and it is more manageable - still hard, but better. Plus all the moves are modified. The trainers at Beachbody (Shaun, Tony, Chalene) always say, do…

The more you move the more your body needs to eat. You will have to see how many calories your body really needs. 200 might be fine, but then you might need more. I am only doing T25. However, I started a fit club at the school where I teach so now I'm doing my GAMMA phase at 5:30 am 5x a week, and then ALPHA workouts at…

The official start date for the workouts would be November 4, since T25's workout calendar starts on Monday. If everyone has the program in hand and is ready to start early, we can go Monday October 28th. Let's see where we land. I usually start the group dates a couple days before to get some of the nutrition issues…

I am in week 3 of Gamma (so will start week 13). I LOVE T25. Great results. I lost 14 pounds so far (over 10% of my body weight) and have ab and arm definition I've never seen.

I had the same problem when I started T25. I got different shoes with larger support base. I would recommend a court shoe with a wider base of support as opposed to a running shoe. Plus you are working muscles that aren't used to training - the shins are involved in jumping rope and many of Shaun Ts exercises in T25 use…

You can always repeat Insanity, or hybrid it with another program like T25. There are so many out there.

I like T25.

Absolutely YES!

If money is the concern, buy the one that is cheapest. It sounds like you would be willing to do any of them. Any program that you stick with will yield results. It's all about consistency - the mechanics of the program are minimal as far as results. Good luck on meeting your goals!

I would agree on waiting. I would avoid a pill and instead use a powder formula. Many companies sell them. Yes they are expensive. Maybe you won't need it every workout. I personally use a pre-workout only before my cardio-heavy workouts. I do find I have increased energy and more stamina. I also drink a post-workout shake.

10 push ups - full to the ground, no knees. I have T25 to thank for that. I couldn't even do 1 30 days ago.
-
We are all here for support and motivation. You can all feel free to add me.

I've tried both P90x and Insanity. They both have good and bad. If you are looking for weight training and resistance, then P90x is the better choice. Insanity is cardio based, but definitely builds strength using your body to change your body. My problem was time - so I chose to do Shaun T's Focus T25 workout. The first 2…

Congratulations on your transformation. You are beautiful! December 27 is my birthday by the way. :) Beachbody and T25 have changed my life too. I lost over 10% of my body weight and feel better than ever. Like you, I am paying it forward as a coach. Totally agree that nothing ruins a story more than a sales pitch. You are…

Challenge Group for November is here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/17045-t25-accountability-group-november

Only if they look FINE in them ;)

My knees are always crunching. Sometimes I think I have a bag of cereal in there. I do the same as others here - crank up the music and ignore it. But if you have pain along with the crunch, you might want to get it looked at.
-
I like T25. I tried Insanity but found many of the moves hurt and I struggled to find time for an hour workout. T25 is just 25 minutes 5x a week. Plus there's a woman who modifies all the moves so beginners can build up, and those prone to injuries can do some moves with low impact. I am starting a T25 accountability and…

I don't beat myself up when I slip. I try my best to take it one day at a time and eat well and move my body. I keep it simple.

I add almond butter and a banana to my Shakeology every morning to create a full meal. Lots of dense nutrition packed with tons of protein. Since it's pumpkin season, today's shake had almond butter, almond milk, banana, unsweetened pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice. Breakfast of champions! If you haven't heard of Shakeology,…

Burpees - especially when they also involve pushups, spider lunges, and ski jumps. Eeek. Shaun T pushes the limit with burpees in the Gamma phase of T25. Love - Hate relationship for sure.
-
That sounds wonderful. I'm adding that to my Shakeology tomorrow morning!
