When i worked nights i tried working out first thing in the morning and that didnt work out so well, so I switched to evenings, usually around 5-6 and that was what worked best for me!

Thank you for the feedback. The bodymedia is supposed to be 95% accurate and it corresponds to burns I get with my HRM as well. I do weigh on a digital scale using grams. I have had bloodwork, everything is fine. According to my bodymedia I burn average 2500-3000 cals perr day, and take in anywhere from 1700-2200 per day gross.. I weigh my food/portions and count everything. I workout 6 days per week and I lose and gain the same few pounds. I will lose a pounds, then gain 2, then lose 3…

If you hit a plateau how do you know if you should be eating more or less? In other words, if I am sustaining 500-1000 cal deficit for over a year and still not losing, should I eat more, or go even lower???

thanks. I have the BMF and that did not help me. In fact since I have had it I have gained 10 pounds. It seems like it must have been overestimating for me, because even eating at a deficit with that I still gained.... thanks!! I did send you a message!!!

I took alot of time off as well due to gym access/vacations! I plan to get back to gym next week, and will probably need to restart all over since it will be like a almost 3 week hiatus. My goal is to really focus on form!!! You are all doing great!!

@amy: sorry!! i have not lifted in a week, and I leave today for vacation, so no lifting for at least another 10 days, which means when I get back I will seriously need to deload. Thats ok. I will focus really on form and I also should be able to start lifting 3 days per week again!!! Keep up the good work ladies!!

I started eating more 6 mos ago, increasing from 1600 to 2000, then gradually up to 2400 and gained 10 pounds and all my measurements went up and I went up a size in clothes as well. The same thing happened to me. I increased cals to 2300-2400 to 'reset" (I am 5'8" and 173 pounds) I ended up going from 167 to 175!!
