I will update ticker when i get home later, but I am up to 15 miles this week, and need to get in another 10 the next couple days to keep on track for 100 in January. yesterday my right foot was sore, which has never happened so I am taking today off and get back to it tomorrow.

the problem with not getting your period is that you will build up the lining of the endometrium (which normally sloghs off during menses). If you dont shed this lining, you can get a build up of cells and this can lead to endometrial cancer...Also if you are not getting periods because either estrogen or progesterone is…

do you taste the cinnamon?? I usually have a cup or two a few days a week, and only drink regular or decaf. No flavored coffee. Even the smell of flavored coffee makes me gag. I have heard benefits of cin. but dont know if the flavor would be a problem....

I agree with ACG67 for the most part!!! No matter what your carbs are, if you eat in a surplus consistently you will gain. I for one have tried low carb diets several times in the past and after sticking with it for a few weeks and gaining weight even with PCOS I realized it just doesn't work for me. I also think a diet…

@tecallahan: thanks. how long before you saw results. I have tried lower carbs a few times and either gain or stay the same, even though i am still at a deficit. Also how do you get enough fiber?? I need 40 g a day minimum to keep things from backing up (sorry TMI)

so its the low carbs and not the 1300 calories per day thats causing you to lose?? It seems like workout out so hard and limiting calories as well as carbs may be helping???? How tall are you? Have you tried 1300 calorie diets without such low carbs and gained?? I am trying different things to help me as well....

I am planning on signing up for one after new years, that takes place in July. I have only ever done 2 sprint tri's I have done a couple marathons and 3 or 4 halfs, but not a big bike fan, so this will be my challenge. Since I live in New England, my plan is to take spinning classes until the cold weather eases up some...

I went to a raw food retreat and lost about 4 pounds after following the diet for 4 days. I was only there for 4 days. Afterwards of course the weight came back when I returned to normal eating. Any raw foodie would also tell you if you decided to maintain a raw food diet it is a very difficult diet to maintain! Lots of…

I am saying B but only because I "think" that the reason they come out ahead is because there are many more globally then the others...but this is just from my limited experience from reading these boards.. its close thought!!

For me I just dont have whatever it is that I am tempted by around me. I dont keep cookies or junk food in the house so I dont get tempted. At work if they have junk food around I avoid those areas where the junk food is. Of course this time of year is different because everyone is making cookies and pies etc. I allow…

I would avoid the plyometrics disc if that was me!!! I have chronic low back pain from years of nursing and the other workouts dont bother me, but I could never do plyo

I would do it first thing in the morning. Saves money and you get time to yourself!! Or if you can, next option will be babysitter!! most strollers will accommodate babies at 6 mos I believe!!! Good luck! I did my first marathon when my daughter was 8 mos old!
