  • I definitely dont go to bed hungry. I still get nauseaus if I dont eat every few hours, so I have some greek yogurt with a little fiber one cereal mixed in.
  • Yes!!! What Clover said! When I started stronglifts I had never done lifting with barbells, and only had done p90x type workouts. I find stronglifts very simple and you can adjust it as you need! Cant hurt to give it a try!
  • How scary for you! Even if you took the meds as directed, just due to changes in hormones due to pregnancy you may have needed to increase the dosage. Dont beat yourself up!
  • When I followed stonglifts, it would take me 30-40 minutes minimum, but no longer than 45-55 minutes. The heavier the weights got, the longer I rested between sets, so I wasnt doing more, but needed the rest in between. I did lower reps (5) with higher weights. Good luck!!
  • 20 weeks today. Half way there!!!!!!!!!! I have only bought one thing, which was the travel system, and the only reason I bought that so early was because TOys r us was having their annual " 25% off if you trade in an old one" sale and I waited until the last day of the sale. I can always return it if I need to. Otherwise…
  • I was doing stronglifts also when I found out I was pregnant. Because the programs requires such heavy lifting I stopped it when I found out. Now I am doing more circuit training to incorporate weights, but only once week. I do 10min cardio then use empty oly bar (45lbs) and do 3sets of 10 squats, OHP, and dead s. I also…
  • I forget the name of the Bob Harper ones, but they came as a set of four, and one is strength, one is cardio, one is upper body split and lower body, and I think one is yoga. They are really intense, but I like the idea of using weights. I feel so flabby lately so I wanted to do something other than treadmill to change…
  • I was going to order the Tracy ANderson pregnancy project, but like someone else mentioned, I cant get it until mid March, and at that point I will be about 24 wks or so. I am wondering if it is worth getting since I missed the first half of the workouts. RIght now I am just doing Bob Harper workouts and modifying as…
  • Except for the fact that I am no pregnant, I have pretty much weighed the same throughout my marriage aside of weight gain/loss during prior pregnancies. My weight is within 5 lbs of marriage weight. My husband hasn't gained or lost anything either. I would say my fitness is about the same. I have been a "worker outer" for…
  • I am also due July 14th!! Will send FR!
  • I used Dr Brown last time around, which was quite awhile ago (8yrs) and although I think they helped with gas (but how do you really know for sure?? Imean my daughter certainly was fussy and we had to go through quite a few diff. types of formula) but anyhow, my biggest complaint after I actually started using them, was…
  • Since I was 7 weeks pregnant, (I am now 19), I get up at least 2 times to pee during the middle of the night, if not 3 or 4. I am lucky if I get more than 6 hours of sleep per night, and never more than 2-3 hrs at a time before I need to go to the bathroom. It plain sucks! I have tried not drinking after dinner time, I…
  • I am so sorry you are going through this, but so glad you posted cause I am going through the same thing! I lost over 100 lbs prior to my first pregnancy. I kept the weight off for many yrs and during my first pregnancy which was 8 yrs ago, I gained 55lbs even though I watched what I ate and exercised up to the day I…
  • I can totally relate to what your going through!! I went through the same thing for well over a year. Now I am pregnant so its a moot point, but some things to consider: Try increasing protein more and decreasing carbs a bit Have you ever tried calorie cycling? Eating 1400 for a couple days, then a spike day of 1800 or…
  • I went Tuesday for US and looks like we are having a boy! They werem't 100% positive cause the baby wouldnt uncross his legs for long. I go back in 4 weeks for another US and they should be able to confirm then!!! I have an 8 yr old daughter at home, and her and I were hoping for another girl, but as long as he's healthy…
  • When I had my daughter her HR was consistently in the 120-130 range. I found out yesterday that I am having a boy and the HR was in the 160's!
  • I found out I was pregnant a week or so before thanksgiving and since that time I have put on 12 lbs, and havent officially weighed myself for 3 weeks!!! I am eating at or under maintenance and still gaining more than I should. I think that the body does what the body wants to do. I gained 55lbs with my first even though I…
  • Hey July Ladies! This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have a 7 yr old at home, so because we are either keeping my daughters clothes, or continuing to get rid of them, we are going to find out the sex. We didnt the last 2 times, (I lost a little girl at 19 weeks) but this time since we didnt plan/expect any more and got rid of…
  • When i was pregnant with my first I ran 3-5 miles races up to my 7th month and noone ever said a word. Unfortunately this time around I cant go a mile without having to stop to pee so I can run outside anymore :( Good luck!!
  • We havent even talked about it yet, but if its a boy names I like are Finn and levi For a girl, not sure, I like Evangaline, vivienne, Millicent...We should find out the sex in a couple weeks then we can figure out names! We have an Olivia at home
  • I think for my first I was a good 20+ weeks before I felt the baby, and I wasnt even sure at first if it was the baby or gas lol.
  • I told my immediate family, but I am 14 weeks and even my in-laws dont know yet. We lost our last at 19 weeks, so I have been hesitant to say anything. I have to tell work soon though, because I am really starting to show!
  • My doctors advice is the same as well, except they say that if you are diabetic splenda and stevia are okay....so anyhoo I occasionally use splenda and use stevia almost every day....
  • I am due July 14th!! My daughter is 7 and I am actually hoping for another girl, but we should find out either way in a few weeks. I am going for US the first or second week of Feb and hoping they can tell us then!!
  • I am due July 14th! I have gained 9 lbs so far, much to my dismay. WIth my daughter I gained 55 lbs and I really think alot of it has nothing to do with eating, at least for me. With my dd (who is 7) I ran up til I was 7 mos and continued to workout everyday and watch my intake and still gained. With this pregnancy, I am…
  • I just turned 41 and I am now 13 weeks pregnant. Nervous about testing etc. and was quite surprised to even be preggers, but also cautiously excited!
  • Feel free to add me as well! I am also due in July! This is my third preg. but (hopefully) second baby!!!!!
  • IF you dont need anything or dont want anyone to get anything, why dont you call it something different, like some type of gathering??? I have had the same struggle. We are expecting our second, but we gave all my daughters stuff away since she is 7 and we didnt think we could have anymore....But I feel funny asking people…
  • Congrats!! I gained about 60 with my first and would really like to not do that, but already at 11.5 weeks the scale is climbing faster than i would like....
