I really like both and neither of what I think of when I think, "skinny". In terms of a sustainable, "natural" look for me I'm probably shooting for something like the first picture.

Do you lie down and rest for longer than that though? I lie down for 7-8 hours like a normal person, but unfortunately I'm just not sleep all that time. How far over was that for you? And then you have to think how far over maintenance was it? You would have to go 3500 calories over maintenance in a week to gain a pound. If it bothers you that much, some people spread the calories out over a week. I just get back on track the next day.

Are you getting very little sleep? I am a chronic insomniac. I only get 5-6 hours on search.

I'm glad you asked this question. I started a new workout program (You Are Your Own Gym) a few weeks ago and was only sore the first time or maybe first two times, but I am seeing results. It's good to know you don't have to be sore after each workout to ensure you have worked out vigorously.

I'm 165 in a swimsuit in my profile pic and my husband thought I was looking hot! I'm 5'7" though. How tall are you? That must be frustrating. I recommend starting a new thread with your question/ concern; making sure your diary is open to the public (can someone else give instructions on how to do that lol!) and see what advice you get that may be helpful.
