I am SO Freaking excited. Do you realize that I still neurotically watch the old ones on Netflix!

Prayer and meditating on positive scripture and affirmations helps my sadness and depression. Exercising and listening to music help as well. However, if you are having intrusive thoughts, have prolonged sadness (not due to a recent loss or tragedy) and are not improving, I would recommended seeing a therapist and getting…

I had to look at the before and after several times to believe. You have done an amazing job!! You should feel fantastic about you have accomplished.
-
Are you saying that's something you are committing to, or are you asking if it's possible?
-
Awesome!! Thanks so much for the update and congrats for losing the weight, keeping it off and looking so fantastic!!

I read your original post in January and it's been great to see the progress and to hear about the difference in your trip to Disney now that you have lost the weight, versus your earlier trips where your size was limiting. It's such a great investment in your family, longevity, health and vitality that you have made and…

Man, y'all are killing it!! Your before and afters look like two different people!

I haven't read all the other responses, but. . . Increased appetite and specifically increased carb cravings are well document aspects of taking SSRI's for some people. I gained 40 pounds due to increased carb cravings at night after I took my second anti-depressant. I read a great book on how to curve the cravings by…

Any updates? I had to take a break because I overextended myself when I jumped up to the Intermediate level and started doing more upper body work. I was in a car accident (everyone was fine, thank God) and the airbag hit my chest and exacerbated the soreness so I've scaled back.

"I will go down with ship" i.e. White flag- Dido. It's one thing to fall in love, but to never give up on that love is something altogether different.

Great progress! You look incredible!

Congrats on your weight loss! I see a huge difference. You look even younger.

So, I've eaten 50 bananas in the last 60 days and lost 18 pounds. They fit my calories and macros and most importantly make my breakfast of kale/spinach/greek yogurt/ almond milk smoothie yummy, as I dash out the door with four kids in tow. OH, and I made Banana Nut Granola brownies and warm one up and eat before bed (okay…

I fit into a pant suit for church that I hadn't been able to fit in around the holidays.

This. Weighing each morning helps me to see if I am retaining water, if I ate late and am still digesting food, etc. I'm still very early in process so I look at it as data that can help me understand how my body is responding. Every once in a while I weigh at night and I can tell if I will be up or down the next day.

5'7.5 169, 39, I wear a sz 12/14 dress but my measurements 42-35-43. Weird when I look at other people's measurements. Goal 145, sz 8. I eat 1600-1700 total, bodyweight program (You are Your Own Gym) 3x a week, 10,000 steps 2-3 times a week. I've lost 18 lbs since starting 1/1/15.

I think you have gotten an answer to what you can eat for 1000 or more calories with few carbs. I once did a fat fast as part of Atkins, where I just ate lots of coconut oil, cream cheese and boiled eggs. I'm 39, I've done crazy. I've also done low carb and lost while I stuck with it, but my body feels good with a variety…

I'm 5'7.5 and was 187 when I started. I have been shooting for 1600 but end up with 1700 average and have lost 18 lbs since I started 1/1/15 (I lost 10 pounds in two weeks, mostly water weight from a quick holiday weigh gain). My TDEE was 2250 when I started I believe.

Good gracious!! You have the body of someone in their 20s. Well. Done.
-
Wow! That's great progress.
-
Wow, you look amazing! How many calories are you eating a day in maintenance?
-
Wow! You are definitely on track to meet your goal. May I ask why your doctor recommend you lose the weigh so quickly when you were only setting out to lose 30 pounds? Can you share how you are able to do this in terms of calories and what you're eating. I am intrigued, but a bit mortified, lol!

You look so cute!!
