Biochem is great. I would strongly urge everyone to stay away from muscle milk...lots of heavy metals and arsenic in it.

Thank you! I just had a lightbulb moment. Ive never really considered this before and i should have. Makes perfect sense. For example my wedding band is constantly slipping down. Again, thank you for bringing this point up.

First off, you look amazing!! I was reading your post and thought oh my goodness she is my body double. I scrolled down and saw your final pic and thought wow , i hope when i am done i can look this tiny and half as good as you! Then i noticed you were at 162. I am at 164 right now and our measurements are almost exact and…

I usually drink about 10-12 cups a day but i do find my sodium is higher many days than i would like and im working on it. Think that could really play that big of a role?
-
YES! Strength training has actually been my main focus with a little bit of circuit training, bar method, then my usual walk and hiking. I guess thats why i am stumped. Im losing on the scale, my clothes fit different, im strength training ( which should show in measurements ) and nothing. Maybei just need to be patient. I…

Too often! Ha. Honestly every few days which i know is too often. YES my clothes feel different, some pants literally falling off thats why i am so darn confused! quote] How often are you measuring yourself? I only measure once a month, and there has been a difference every month. Everyone is different, so where notice the…

Exactly :)

You know, there are a lot of days i want to be lazy and could make excuse after excuse but the only one losing is me. Do you think anyone else is going to place the value that should be placed on you, your life? Sure people care and love me ( like my husband) but at the days end I'm the one who has to answer to that image…

thanks ladies! I got a great message from another user and now all of your comments...it is starting to fall in place. I swear I just got too worked up and am over thinking the whole thing :)
-
how tall are you?
-
thanks so much! What does your lifting routine consist of? Are you using just dumbbells or the whole shebang? You should really be proud!
-
So many helpful comments and suggestions! Thanks guys. I like the idea for a half rack and a bench. I need to research some more I think. llfp - any way you could post a pic of your set-up? Due to a childbirth injury with my last, the weighted squats are on the back burner for the time being for me as well.
-
I'm on space restrictions somewhat and it seems like once you start talking a whole set-up it is a lot of stuff! What would be the basics to start out with? Could I get going with higher weight dumbbells and a large exercise ball?

Good to know! So in other words, I shouldn't be doing circuit training every day back to back? I should have at least a day break in between? I've trained 22 of the last 23 days and have a feeling I'm doing too much too often.
-
So if I am walking every day 2-3x day at a brisk pace ie: at least 3.5mph and doing some circuit training here and there ie: a few times a week when and how often should I be taking rest days if at all? Also, what actually qualifies as a rest day? Sitting around on my bum all day? That's hard for me so I usually find I…

Congrats! When you say your current BMR is 1624 and you very rarely net under that I assume you're actually eating more due to exercise? On average, what are your total calories consumed each day?
-
With the updates in the chart my numbers are now a tad off. My daily goal calories are 2237 but now under expected weight loss my total calories current is 2111. Why is this?

Done. I am going to join your group too and keep tabs on the progress doing things this way. Initially, there is a learning curve to get past but once you understand exactly how all the calculations work it does make sense. One last question, how does Body Fat % relate to the Net Above BMR slot? I've noticed when playing…

You are so great! This is all starting to make sense. I did not include the 30DS, you are correct. Reason being I don't plan on continuing it regularly and planned on, like you suggested, when I do it eating a snack to fuel it appropriate for the workout. I'm focusing now more on this method and scratching MFP's…
