Tbh mine wasn't unexpected. I have struggled with severe binge eating in the past. After almost a year I clawed myself out of it but it's always under the surface... The past week has been incredibly stressful and led to something of a relapse. Still, today I've stuck under my goals so I'm taking it as a positive. I'm…

Thanks :) It's so frustrating when you're working hard but the scale isn't moving =\ My biggest problem is eating after exercise... I've promised myself tonight that I'm going to do the 25km and then have one 45kcal soup drink. Hopefully having to sip liquid means I'll feel fuller and not resort to snacking. Fingers…

My plan is to keep the calories low, switch to drinking only water and try to cut out refined sugar. I'll stick with exercising on my bike - I'm aiming for 10k per day (I know it's not much but I want a distance I can commit to) working at level 22.

Happy New Year! My goals for next 100 days: 1. Be under 10st (140lbs) by the end of the challenge 2. Cycle 10k DAILY on my exercise bike, working at no lower than level 20 3. Go the 100 days without binge eating - I've struggled with this for the past 14months... 4. Reduce my intake of refined sugar Good luck with today's…

Hi, not sure if anyone is following anymore...the summer challenge worked so well for but recently I've stalled and really want to get back on track

Hi. Sorry for being away so long. I was unwell at the start of the week then started a new job on Wednesday so things have been a bit mental. I can't quite believe I walked over 200 miles, when I first set my target of 150 I thought that might be pushing it! Although the exercise has improved I think my diet has gone…

Hi, sorry for not checking in :embarassed: Unfortunately we don't have working scales at home (I'd been using the one where I volunteer) so I don't know if I've lost anything through our summer challenge yet. However, I start my new job in September and will be buying some as soon as I'm paid! Until then I'm just going to…

Hi When I first started MFP I only calorie counted. No exercise and I ate unhealthy food but stuck to my calorie limit and lost 30 lbs. A few months ago I started walking and making much healthier food choices but I've never eliminated food groups, used intermittent fasting, done the whole eating little meals every few…

If I'm desperately craving sugar I'll have one of the 99cal 'funsive' chocolate bars but most days I can get by with low calorie hot chocolate - I make it with 1tsp of powder so it's only 20 calories and 2g of sugar per mug. I also sometimes have boiled sweets (either Werther's Originals or Fox Glacier Fruits), they're a…

I think for me part of it is that at my heaviest I clearly had a completely distorted body image. In the same way that an anorexic can look in the mirror and think they're fat, I was obese but looking and thinking it wasn't too bad...it's only now when I try on my old clothes that I realise how fat I must have been - I…
