Yep, I had something similar happen to me back in late Feb. I'd started my diet Jan. 1. I had a Wendy's burger one night and a couple of Dunkin' Donuts the next day. I felt SO shaky and sick, it was awful. It's made me basically swear off 99% of fast food. I don't even crave it because I know it will make me feel like crap.

I've lost 43 lbs this year just by counting calories.

I have a 300 calorie smoothie for my lunch about half the time. I've been steadily losing weight with it. For me, it's a meal, not a drink.

Eat that cookie and enjoy every bite! I'd go nuts without some sweets too. Just fit it into your calories and you'll be fine. BTW, buying one cookie at Subway is way better than buying a package to take home.

Well, I reached my all-time high weight of 214 after a trauma set me off and I stopped caring what and how much I ate. Bad news all around. My wedding band was stuck on my finger, I got winded taking a shower, and while reading to my girls, I could see my fat cheeks just looking down at the book. Some weight came off…

Be gentle with yourself, you just had a baby! Eating 700-1000 calories per day is restrictive to the point that it would drive me nuts. There's no reason to NOT have cheese, or bread, or dipping sauces. It's all in the quantities. I have cheese quite often; I can eat 6 cubes of sharp cheddar for 110 calories. I've found…

I've lost 40 lbs this year on 1200 calories. It's been doable. I'm not full, but I'm not hungry either.

It's summer! Who doesn't want ice cream in July? I have made sure to save myself some calories for a little ice cream cup after dinner.

Way to go!

Yep, if I have a muffin top, I don't really fit into those pants!

Wow, at 175 I was in 12's! 145ish was about 8, I'm at 136 right now and in a 6.

Way to go!

Yes, you will lose. I have. Sorry, but I despise exercising!

Envision small steps first, like one size down at a time. You will lose the weight, just keep on going. I still have "fat brain" and feel like I'm still big and not 39 lbs lighter.

The first thing that started fitting again as I was losing weight? You guessed it. My bras. Sigh.

Thank you for asking this, I have the same problem!

My personal experience is that I can drink diet soda with no effect on my appetite or weight loss. Frankly, I don't care to give it up.

I have girls almost exactly 2 years apart, and I've been asked multiple times if they're twins. Even when one was a busy toddler and the other was a non-walking infant.

It goes soooooooo slowly at the end! Just stick to it and be patient. You'll get there!

I was too ashamed to ever be in front of the camera.

I am trying very hard to think of a WORSE idea...

This is so true. I was an "ideal" weight for a long time, gained 75 lbs in about a year, and was overweight for about 3.5 years. I'm back to where I was before, but I still feel fat. My surprise is that the portion sizes are actually quite a lot of food and I didn't need that grande Starbucks, the tall is plenty.

Hi, OP! I have depression too and gained about 75 lbs in one year. I lost a little weight here and there, but have dropped 35 lbs since the beginning of the year just by calorie counting. I hate exercise too. But every little teeny tiny bit counts. I've just started riding a stationary bike during my baseball pregame shows…

You look great! Congrats!

I've lost 28 lbs since January 1 with 1200 calories. I'm not hungry or cranky at all. I was inspired by a woman on another board I visit who lost half her body weight on 1200 calories.
