Nice progress!!

If your measurements are the same, try not to be so down on yourself. I KNOW from experience that is easier said than done. But, that weight could be anything. The scale can sometimes really sabotage us. You look great, confident, and strong. I have finally come to the realization that above thin, skinny, attractive, I…

I started in mid/late December of last year (2010)

Yeah, I think it is. You can up your calories and then up them more for pregnancy. It can also be used during breast feeding. I always go by the saying, "Pregnancy is NOT the time to diet" But, i do think pregnancy is the time to be healthy just like any other time. I would only use it to make sure I was getting my daily…

do it, but do it every day and give it your all, and you will see awesome results. Push through the soreness and commit to it. Believe it or not, I started noticing toning in my arms and shoulders within 3 days. A lot of people don't push through and do it every day then complain about how it didn't work for them. You have…

That is cute!! lol :D

All I can tell you is DO NOT STOP. Keep going. Push yourself. By day 5 or 6, it will be easier and you will be much less sore. Honestly by the time I got to levels 2 and 3, I didn't even get sore anymore. I had a great workout, sweating just as much and kicking *kitten*, but just no soreness. It really whips you into…

put it in as 20 minutes circuit training. People on here with HRMs say that is the most accurate way to log it. Also if you don't have weights, use cans or water bottles. And, push yourself through the next day. Do not stop. You will notice it getting easier and you will be less sore probably by the 5th or 6th day. Good…

 so true!

I think if you have 20 to lose, it'd be perfect. I just did it and love my results. I also did other workouts, mostly cardio in combination with the shred. Now that I've completed it, I do level 1 on Mon, level 2 on Wed, and level 3 on fri or sat. I do it to keep my sculpting and toning I got from shred. I loved it!

You should put that you have a very active lifestyle and then NOT track work as your exercise. It will give you more calories and your goals will be different. Just to to settings and you change it.

I am terrible! It is definitely my weakness. I will do well all day and then blow it. The only positive about it is I will eat like that, then be more conscious and feel bad about it the next day and be under or at my goal, so it turns out to be zig-zagging. Although unintentional, it has helped me shed some pounds…

Okay, mine ARE still there. But I swear, the thinner and fitter I get, they are less noticeable. I think maybe 1 because they are less stretched out, and 2 the color has faded. I have them on back of legs, back of arms, some on love handles and lots on tummy from pregnancy. So, keep going for your goal, and I really think…

Yes! Your tummy is flattening out, hon!! Nice job

I only use the wii to weigh. Partly because it's the only scale I have, and because I feel like it is very accurate. I did used to have it on the carpet, but switched to hard floor bc I read that carpet throws it off. But, I'd have to agree with you, there was no difference. I actually did it on carpet and hard floor the…

oh I was also gonna ask if you measure/weigh all your food. Eyeballing can also be very tricky. Best to measure
-
Are you sure you aren't underestimating the amount of food you eat, or overestimating the cals you are burning? This can be really tricky sometimes and it will definitely keep you from losing weight. Be careful with that. Also, so many entries in the mfp database are dead-wrong!! Sometimes if something doesn't seem right,…

My dog had the regular surgery. I hardly noticed she was in pain at all. They did give me meds to take home, but she was so spunky, I had one or two left over.

Do you munch out when you get high?
-
ok too late, yes my goal IS weight loss and toning/sculpting etc The next person has a workout/fitness/nutrition partner

So true.... I was thinking the exact same thing, but didn't point it out. I'm glad you did though, nice of you to look out for her :)
-
No. No and No. lol...... seriously though, you need your fuel and I highly doubt that you're going to get it with baby food. You need a wide variety of vegetables, complex carbs, proteins, fats, sugars, etc..... Be careful with this kind of thing.

greek yogurt or make yourself a protein shake. I actually make mine and they are yummy: scoop of protein powder half cup of greek yogurt teaspoon (or two) of honey 1 tbspn flaxseed meal appropriate amount of water ice then blend and enjoy

My family including son, husband, extended fam (sisters and their kids). My son smiling and/or laughing. My friends, fun with my friends, having fun period, laughing..... From a fitness point-of-view, when i am dripping so much sweat that wiping it doesn't help, because I have a fresh layer right after I've wiped anyway,…

LOL! Love this.

I've read this is a myth, but I disagree. I've seen it happen. I think it's because a man's body is naturally more muscular and more muscle promotes more fat burn.

WOW, 14 lbs in one month?? That is amazing. You will not see losses like that every month. 8 lbs is actually a huge loss for a month, so 14 is out of this world. But people tend to lose a lot at first, then it slows down. Stick with it and don't give up. I know you had the question about why you're gaining: I don't know,…

oh and I was gonna say, the ones that are good minced and added are: bell peppers, squash (zucchini, yellow, etc), onion, celery, spinach, kale, broccoli.
