My bf suggested broccoli rice someday, and I was just like, yeah ok, someday. I'm not a huge fan of broccoli like I am with cauliflower. Needless to say I won't be trying it anytime soon!

I personally love beans and potatoes. I feel like both are really versatile!
-
Like potatoes are potatoes and I will always eat them! But rice is sort of a snore personally. I have a certain dish I will always make with rice, as the cauliflower flavor might not work. I have a friend who has type 1 diabetes and this would definitely make her happy if she came over for stir fry, because she wont have…

For me the cauliflower "rice" is more about variety in my meals. I have recently found that I may be gluten intolerant so I may f- up pizza and try out this cauliflower thing. Im scared though!

Make sure you dry it off really well after you wash it, use the lowest setting and pulse!

I use low sodium tamari or soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and a spot of honey or pineapple. <---- teriyaki I personally like to sear a ring of pineapple to go with my stirfry. Just look for the soy sauce with the least salt, and you should be good, if you are using dried garlic or ginger, make sure there is no added salt.

Well i wouldnt use it as a replacement, not trying to replace rice. I feel like it pairs better than rice with certain things, like stir fry.

EAT ALL THE BACON!

Oh and lots of water when you get home.

I used to have that after work, I would come home and be ravenous! I find that If I snack on something with protein like a piece of cheese or nuts, it helps keep the binging at bay. For me, I can't ever let myself reach that insanely hungry point. Small snacks help me eat small meals, all of which keeps my hunger level…

Pertaining to your second post. I have been in your situation! I wanted to go back to school and that meant I had to live with family. Well I was only allowed to use the micro if I wasn't going to eat what everyone else had for dinner, which was horribly unhealthy!! And I was hungry ALL THE TIME!! I couldn't lose even…

I couldn't agree more on the diets foods. I feel like they have more calories and make me feel hungry! Cooking your own food helps too I think. I personally love some small corn tortillas, black beans and eggs in the morning with a glob of sour cream. I make my own breakfast tacos! Add low calorie veggies too!

I take ACV tablets because they help lots of different things like stomach issues and energy level. Maybe this is how I've been dealing with cutting out gluten!

I think you need to stop eating fake, diet food. You have plenty of calories to eat real bread once a day. For me small, protein filled snacks between meals help me feel full, and drinking lots of water. I gotta say all these snow days make me sit around and think about food all day, so in guess keeping busy helps.

I am not sure what villi is? also was it just routine bloodwork or were they looking for it?

So I have been concerned with having celiacs for some time now. I have had stomach issues and have been chubby my whole life. The only times I ever felt 'good' have been when I switch to a low carb way of eating, as in no gluten! Then last week I was reading how many people are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease for…

I count it if it makes me sweat.

I have a love affair with potatoes but I try to avoid them, because I tend to overeat. I have been incorporating sweet potatoes into my diet more because they have alot of nutrition. If I was going to eat white potatoes I would probably eat the skin and make sure to measure and stay within my carb and calorie numbers.

skeptical?
-
OMG yes, I had those last week. also I am obsessed with the sea salt and chocolate too lately. I think thats why I like chocolate so much now because im not really a sweets person.
-
I think that personally, I will be avoiding mac n cheese while dieting. During this time, I think im going to look to devise a 'healthier' mac and cheese recipe.
-
OMG YOU GUYS!! I got Ghiardelli (sp) SEA SALT SOIREE with roasted almonds. I just really love the name, so I had to scream it. One square is like 63 calories and that's all I needed and its pretty dark stuff but not too dark for me. Made my day too. That is all.
-
Just a few things I am unsure of. I have heard several schools of thought on the chocolate front. Some say avoid it all together, which I won't because im an adult! LOL Others say to enjoy occasionally but choose the highest % of cocoa. Like I said, I like dark, but im not really into that 70% stuff. Is this because it…

That sounds crazy! I know I tend to be more thirsty when it's really cold like it has been here in NJ,but 2 gallons?! I know some medications cause that thirsty or dried out feeling. I can't think of anything else, but that is a ton of water to be feeling thirsty.

He wants to lose also but he only feels like he can with very strict guidelines. Like no sugars of any kind! Not even a tomato! I'm just like, I'll have a bite of cake and that's it, he can't even go near it without going overboard.

I've tried the Greek yogurt when I didn't have milk and butter on hand and I actually really liked it. I try to add veggies like green be a nd too.

I am also new, but a previous user of the app. The my homepage looks very similar to facebook, as in you see updates from friends.

Thanks Allan, I will FR you next time im on. I am really trying to get my BF to be good on this diet. He has also previously lost about the same as me and gained back just about the same too, from eating extravagant meals while away on business. He does better on super restrictive diets like 5 hour body or calorie…
