Its definitely hard to log when on holiday and maintain. I went on 3 holidays this year and gained a few lbs each time. I had to work hard to get rid of the extra weight after each holiday and really watch my calories after. Am still working on the lbs I gained from the last one! Good luck and just enjoy!

I don't think its possible to have the same exact weight everyday. it'll fluctuate a few lbs up or down depending on your salt and water intake, type of food eaten the previous day. If activity level and consumption level as are not too far off, number on the scale shouldn't be too far off either.

Sounds like you're good where you are, but if you want to lose more, maybe try to get to 115-116 lbs and see how you feel.

For me, it depends on what I'm having for breakfast. I find that if I load up on too much carbs early in the day, I tend to crave more carbs/sweets as the day goes on. Try to get a good balance of protein and carb.early in the day.

Start now - healthy eating, exercise - the works. And make it a lifetime commitment. Whatever weight you lose before school starts, that's great! With very little to lose, I don't think it'll be too noticeable. Good luck!

If you don't like salads, there are a number of veggies you can steam quickly - string beans, asparagus, broccoli, carrots etc.
Random: I've heard that it takes 15 mins for your stomach to sense the full sensation, so now before I get second-helpings, I'll wait at least 15 mins. Most of the time, I don't need to go back for more.
Great advice. Thanks.

Your trainer is right, someone at my gym said once, "you gain strength in the gym and lose weight in the kitchen." indeed calories in must be less than calories out in order to lose the weight! Good luck on your journey!

If you are saying lower than 1300 for your base and plus some of your exercise calories, yes! I am also 5'2" . When I ate at recommended TDEE level I didn't lose anything even when I exercised for more than 1 hour everyday. Then I lowered my calorie intake to 1250 plus roughly 10% of my exercise calories, I lost the weight…

Yes, same here...

5"2" with small frame, am now in maintenance at 115-116ish for past 3 weeks. But my goal is more of body fat percentage since I tend to carry weight around my mid-section.
-
Yes, totally. That is why I have to keep logging!

Height: 5'2" Age: 56 SW: 142-143 CW: 115-116 GW: 115 Started on MFP in Sept 2013 Calories: 1200 + some of my exercise calories I am now in maintenance. I do have some cheat days or treats but try to keep within my weekly limit overall. I do Pilates/PiYo plus walking. If I do more exercises, I just up my calories a bit.

I love weekends because I can sleep in - no work! Only thing is, I can get over my limit. Kinda hard to count calories at parties, get togethers and such which are generally on weekends. But oh well it's back to counting on Monday!

Discount stores and consignment stores have designer stuff for much much less. A lot of them have stuff that are brand new with original tags still on. But go when you have enough time to sort through racks and racks of clothing.

Check your measurements. Sometimes you'll stall on the scale but win with tape measure. When you exercise your muscle holds on to a bit more water. This will leave l off eventually. I'm 5'2" , small frame and started out at around 143- 145 lbs in /sept 2013. This weight was very heavy for me. But with patience and…
