My calorie goal is around 1250 a day. My strategy (if I can call it that) is to spread my calories throughout the day, around 2.5-3 hours apart- approx. 6 times a day (breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack, dinner and after dinner snack) with approx. 200-215 per meal with the late snack under 100 calories. This helps…

Delicious ideas for breakfast! Any other sources of protein apart from meat and eggs and soy? These are my staples for breakfast but would like to try vegan or non-dairy protein sources sometimes just to mix it up a bit but don't know any. Thank you for any suggestions you can give.

I weigh myself every morning, right after bathroom activities and before breakfast. This is just to monitor my weight and can handle the slight fluctuations everyday.

I've lost 22 lbs since last September (approx. 15% of my weight ). Getting pretty close to target. Didn't realize until MFP, how I was eating mindlessly. Now I am ore careful of what I put in my mouth and I try to keep active.

Hi, I'm 56 and joined in Sept 2013. And at only 5'2", the extra 25-27 lbs pounds I gained since menopause looked so heavy on me. I lost 20 lbs so far and trying to lose the last 4-5 lbs. I've been stuck at my current since Apr. I'd lose a pound then gain it back a day or two later. I too need ideas to jump start my…

Exercise will not necessarily make you lose weight. It's always the deficiency in intake that will cause you to lose weight. If you exercise but eat all your calories back, you will just maintain. but if you eat less even if you exercise in moderation, you will certainly lose. I exercise in moderation ( mainly walking and…

Sorry I meant "I weigh everyday..."

I log everyday for now just so I can see the trend on how my body reacts to what foods I ate the day before. Also this keeps me motivated to keep going!
