good luck. had my first kid last summer and I'm in my 30s..i want to be around for everything too. when he's playing sports I want to be able to help.. my injuries don't help, so gotta drop some weight and stay healthy. let's gooooo!

it was. challenging last 4mo because my wife wasn't really doing the same stuff as me food wise, and since I cook I had to do dual meals.. but now she's on board.. so never know, maybe they change when they see you change

I started doing p90x workouts at home. then took some of what I learned and did the workouts at the gym but only went late (after 10p) so I wouldn't be embarrassed that I couldn't do much weight. ppl that go late are pretty chill and usually committed so they often can be good for advice etc..

Ehhh... high school injury #1 15 years ago. Umm.. had to take time off, but they're right, more upper body stuff, or limited lower body, plus stick to the food eating habits..

I keep telling my wife just wear basketball shorts to lift or workout like me, but she said it makes her look like a lesbian... I don't get it lol

I'm trying to do around 200 a day, so just hit 10-20 when the clock hits each hour so it's spaced out... that may or may not be good for me or helpful to you . but that's what I do lol

love the small goals... I cut out certain foods slowly, and substituted better options over the last 5 months. it's not a perfect science as I'm constantly craving something to munch on and I'm terrible at portion control... but I've been able to drop 20lb or so in that time. logging each day, and I have an open diary =)

ah, I remember those days. it's impossible to eat at the cafeteria without being terrible as a freshman
