Welcome to MFP  I guess you've found the right place. This here is not only about dieting but about fitness, health, lifestyle and to change habits for longterm aims. It's great because all kind of people gather here - but with the same goal. I am sure you'll get the support you need here. There are a lot of…

I am 5'6'' and started with 167lbs - guess I was even around 170ish... I always had a very "female" body - hourglass for sure with some extra pounds on it. But I never disliked myself. The only thing I really did not like was my shape and fitness - both inexsitent that times... And that I looked ridiculous in a dress - but…

Same here... my best friend wants me to stop and to get some pounds back... I started at 170ish and now I am down at 126. I do feel good but I try to get down a little more at about 120. There is still some "fat" on my hips I really don't like... But my best friend tells me every time we meet to eat more, that I look too…

I totally agree  I make my own salad kits with fresh green salad, cucumber etc. and my own dressing... it is cheaper, healthier and you can vary however you want to.

Muscle toning seems to be the magic word. I asked a plastic surgeon about the all-day-bra-wearing-idea and he told me that this brings almost no to no effect. Make sure to wear a good sports bra while exercising and even it is an expensive fun to buy a new daily bra as soon as the older one is too slack... He also told me…

Congrats!! You are a REAL inspiration for many many people out here, I am sure! You are a "normal" person (not like all this "untouchable" celebs out in the news) and you show that it is possible. Even it sure was hard work you can be SO SO proud of! Hats off! :) And by the way you look way younger now! This post…

about 2-3 kg ... but it's okay because it goes down again after a few days :)

thank you  Even I saw that they cost over $80 in Switzerland - therefore not really cheap, even in comparison... but sometimes you have to invest in something good  will have a look for it when I go shopping next time...

I'd love to exercise in the mornings but I am not able to... :-( I get out of the house at 5:15 a.m. and for me being totally grumpy in the morning I wouldn't be able to get up even earlier

Also on a good way with Jillian Michaels :-) some day I do a Dance workout with strenght training instead (75min) and I go for a run 3 times a week :-) feel way better than before! :-)

Your body doensn't know from which food the particular nutritive substance is coming from :) I eat Parmesan alomst every day - as long as it fits into my daily goal :)

Rahnia, just one little question... You said you almost finished week 3... When did you change the levels? Am I supposed to change it after one week and do level 3 for 2 weeks then? Or is it better to change as soon as the current level is getting "easy"? :)
-
I do it once a week :) same day, same time when my body is in its same "state" :) I do also take measurements once a week because I am doing a high impact workout each day and I am focused on that instead of my weight itself in an isolated point of view :) Good luck, ladies - and gentlemen :)

Laughter and fun - Life would be sad without it :)

Welcome Kelly and all the other new followers :) good luck with all your weight loss or whatever you want to achieve :) I love this page/app not only because of tracking food... I have met wonderful people who have given me (and still do) lots of good advice, encouragement and support! :) whatever question I had so far…

Sounds "mean" but I am not surprised at all...

Just do it! :)

This has nothing to do with fitness in a direct way. Most of it is about connective tissue. You can be rather heavy built and have smooth and firm tissue - or you can be super skinny and have these mean dints... It has to do with age, hormones, gens, the "quality" of tissue underneath - in general women haven't got the…

This is your "normal" fluctuation... Water retention (i.g. electrolyte metabolism, pH of blood etc.), hormone cycle... Don't worry about it you will see a difference again when you step on the scale next time :)
