I snack - in fact I try not to go longer than a few hours without eating something. Pomegranate seeds are one of my favourite snacks at the moment!

Not sure if you are UK based but M&S do a wonderful range (Their 'Cook Range') and they do chicken breasts in various marinades. I've had the spicy Paprika, the Honey & Mustard and the Garlic one - They are sometimes on offer 2 for £6. You actually cook them in the tray they come in. Normally I would say marinade your own…

Agreed - I have been on 1200 cals since I signed up (I wanted to lose 17-22lbs) and without eating back my exercise calories I would have been eating too little! Because I didn't have a vast amount of weight to lose, I was on 1200 regardless of whether my settings were to lose 0.5, 1 or 2lbs per week!

I eat my calories back - always have done. My weightloss has stalled since May (I stopped smoking in early May) but by then I was very close goal weight anyway! I lost pretty much consistently between Feb - May whilst eating back my exercise cals.

I agree, moderation is key! When I do have a 'cheat' meal I still log it. Sometimes I will go over my calories sometimes I wont [I am finding that I make better choices now anyway as it's just part of my lifestyle] I don't view it as cheat meal either - it is just a meal that I haven't prepared myself LOL!
-
I prefer to have a cheat meal every now and then. It may be a big lunch with a glass of wine (like last Saturday) or an evening meal at a restaurant. I try to work out beforehand, I also make sure my other two meals are light and supper healthy! I also make sure I get back on plan the next day!

You look astonishing! I don't know you personally but I am so pleased for you and I bet all your friends and family are so very proud!

Rome is lethal. Although I came home pretty much the same weight as we were literally walking 7/8 hours a day. Plus we were having our main meal at lunch and just something light in the evening - we were so tired from all the sightseeing to go out for dinner LOL! Garlic bread is a former favourite of mine, we used to have…

A few tips for eating Italian: Top 5 tips • Enjoy a few olives before your meal but don't over-indulge • Ask for salad dressing or oil and vinegar to be served separately • Avoid high fat choices such as salami, pepperoni and cured meats, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, creamy or cheese-based sauces and rich salad…

I make sure my portins are big enough to satisfy and not bloat me! With pasta and potaoes in particular my portion control really works. .. Half the amount of pasta I used to serve myself is perfectly fine to fill me up.

In the UK Marks & Spencers do Black Olive Crackers - 20 cals a cracker. I live on them!

Eat before you go and maybe just have a little taster whilst there - if you can fit in a work out then earn some calories for cake !!

I am not huge on exercise to be honest - over the years I have tried everything (spinning, swimming, classes, gym) and I just do not get into it. It just never fits into my lifestyle !! I lead a very busy life, I commute 2 hours a day and am usually so zonked when I get home all I can do is make something quick [and…

I'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt. Not all of us are computer savvy and by the looks of it she genuinley seems to want to lose weight? As *some* others have said good foods are fresh and unprocessed (IE not out of a packet) so this includes the majority of fruit / salad and veggies. Try to have at least 5 helping…

I drink vodka and low cal mixers as opposed to wine (which was my drink of choice!) You can still drink but make sure you exercise a lot more, opt for a lower cal option and obvioulsy don't overeat when you are drinking.

Looking at your diary you seemt o be quite a lot of calories under on several days last week, so it may be that you aren't eating enough? I would try to get a bit closer to your calories each day. No loss is frustrating (it's taken me 3 months to lose a lb - but I have stopped smoking and I am so very near to goal weight…

Love line (or treasure trail) for me! Basicaly a little bit is Mmmm - too much or none at all isn't great!

If he is overweight in 10 years then by all means let him sign up!

I weigh less than my "smallest" friend yet she still looks teeny and wears a size smaller than me...

a dollop of peanut butter will set you back 100 cals (make sure it is the nice stuff though - yum!)

I don't think it is a good idea for your 8 year old child to know so much about you and your husbands weightloss to be honest. I certainly do not think you should allow him to have an account. In fact I would say I am 100% against the idea. There is a huge difference between knowing about healthy food [which I wholly…

Breakfast: I don't get all excited about to be honest - usually a slice or two of wholemeal toast and some fruit / yoghurt Lunch: sliced chicken breast on a bed of rocket with cucumber, radishes, red onion and red pepper with a little low cal dressing, 2 mini wholemeal pitta breads and a dollop of humous Dinner: mini meat…

I plan to have a week's beach holiday in Portugal next month and I wont be calorie counting (I probably wont even be able to log in) I will make sure I swim every day for at least an hour and I will stick to healthy choices when and where possible (Portugal is very coastal so lots of fresh, healty food!) I will let my hair…

I have been within goal weight for months now (I stopped smoking after 15 years in early May so I am pleased to have no gain but it has stalled my weightloss) We plan to head off on holiday in September so once I have somthing booked I hope I cna…

It pi55es me off but I get over it pretty quickly! It was my decision to go over my calories so it has to be my decision to get back on track !!!

Use your diary to plan - logging after you have eaten something is too late for you to make a healthy substitute!
