I have the fitbit one and an incompatible phone, so i sync everything through the computer and then update the app with the info on the computer. It is more like a pedometer than a HRM, which works well for me because most of my exercise is walking. The one also logs sleep and number of awakenings through the night, number…

I have horrible sleeping patterns, usually 4 hours a night during the week and 12+ on the weekends to catch up. If I weigh myself before I "catch up" on the weekends I am usually 3 lbs heavier than I am on Saturdays when I wake up. I don't gain weight, I just don't lose any, without fail.

Pack your own lunch. If the cafeteria is anything like the one's I've seen the food is full of salt and the measurements are estimates when the food is being made. Weigh everything. Use the recipe builder tool.

Plateau? You need to be eating more.

Small, sustainable changes made over time, and taking things one meal at a time, nevermind one day of 10 pounds
-
Once a week exercise is better than nothing. Start by making small changes that are sustainable, and add some friends with open diaries so you get food ideas. The more small changes you make, the less sluggish and more motivated you will feel. You'll find you're making time for exercise and incorporating your children.…

Are you eating back your exercise calories? I can't exist on only 1200, so I eat more and try to space them evenly throughout the day

Typically, a dress can be taken in 2 sizes, but some dresses with corsets are adjustable just because of that. It doesn't take that long to alter a dress. Try them on, but I would hold off buying until you're closer to your goal because you just can't predict where you will lose the weight from. This is personal experience…

This happened to my mom, she has a lot of problems with her feet. Her toes were rubbing against the seam in her socks and sometimes the toe of her shoe. She ended up having to get orthotics and new shoes and stay off her feet for a while. Def get to a doctor, and maybe ride a bike for a little while? Good luck!

Hi, I'm still thinking about ordering the program. I've never been able to commit to a workout before and don't want to waste my money if I can't find it within myself to do this. 1) Your Name and Where You Live - Lindsay, Barrie Ontario Canada 2) How is your current fitness? - I'm very overweight. I can climb 2 flights of…

I hear you. The only thing that has helped me (I can worry through a medication haze) is to write my worries down. I get so tired of writing down the same things over and over that I just stop, or at least slow down. I made lists of good things that are likely to happen in the next few years, and of the good things going…

I have a goal of 135 pounds to lose (16 gone so far). I was stuffing myself into 22's.

Hi, I'm in the same boat! I have a goal of losing 135 lbs, and I'm 16 pounds down as of Saturday! I would love more supportive friends! I'm on daily

Me too!! I have a total goal of losing 135, I'm 16 lbs down as of Saturday. Would love some more support from people who get it! I'm on daily! If anyone needs to talk about depression etc I'm here for that too!

Are they maybe running laps or something where you can't see them? The membership fee includes the price of the equipment, customer service and the shower and other amenities. Sounds like if these people were using the equipment you wanted, you would complain about that too. If I want to go to the Y and park my *kitten* on…

My chihuahua puppy sleeps in his own bed with my ferret. Three cats rotate through a position on my bed and the window sills.

I have three cats all rescues (Dexter, Al and L.K.) my ferret, Mortimer, and my chihuahua (seems to be popular on this site) puppy, Picker. My fur babies!! On a side note, how is everyone getting their ticker's to show up? I'm not going to even attempt to upload photos :S

Been there. I got four small tattoos on the top of my foot, so fairly easy to hide. My boyfriend of 10 years hates tattoos, and I didn't tell him in advance I was getting them. I got them to remind myself of what was important in my life after being injured in a car accident. Now when I look at them, all I think about is…

Barrie - it's growing! I've never liked how they built up the downtown with all the bars and night clubs. I'm in the north end. The south end is growing so quickly, soon Mapleview won't be able to handle all the traffic!

BUMP!! There's so many wonderful threads on this site

Congrats to you on taking that step! and on your success so far, its a huge accomplishment! Thanks for replying.

So sorry for your loss. Although I haven't lost my father, I understand how easy it is to turn to food for support, and then more support when you feel depressed about your weight gain. I turn here for support regularly, I try not to wait until I've backpeddled. I would do a challenge with you - have you thought about…
