for the past few days i've been doing this: eating high protein, high fat, sorta low carb, and almost all of my alloted calories (which i found using a TDEE calculator, minus 15%). I lift weights and workout hard 5 days a week. I've noticed that my food choices are much different when i try to get in enough protein. and…

Wow!! Those are amazing results!! You are a huge inspiration to me. Thank you for posting. I, too have 5 kids (4 girls and one boy)...and right now my initial goal has been to get down to 155. I am about to turn 31 in a few weeks. I have lost about 13.5lbs so far.....I can't wait to say I've reached my goal like you!!…

I, personally, do not have PCOS. I have a few friends with it, and because of them (and from reading) it seems a low carb diet can be beneficial. Not sure if you just try to stay in your calorie range or what, but I've seen a couple of ladies have great success doing it that way.

bingo!

yes! As soon as I read "step it up for the wedding" I was annoyed. EFF him. I wouldn't want to be seen with him at the wedding.
-
I don't know that I could stay around something like that for very long. And if I did, I would probably cuss him out multiple times daily. ahh marriage. Anyway, you're not the first person I've heard of losing a LOT of weight whose spouse basically turned verbally abusive once they succeeded. He definitely sounds insecure.

i always used to pack my kids lunches. a few times, I was short on food and needed to shop, but wanted to wait one more day. i would BEG them to get school cafeteria food the next day. they did not want to. lol. so they would end up with a really random lunch instead. lol now we homeschool, and 9 times out of 10, they make…

Yes ^ and not everyone agrees with the whole paleo/clean eating thing. i mean, i still love to have my ice cream when i can. sometimes i drink a diet soda. but what i've figured out is, i can eat a pretty good sized meal that makes me feel absolutely stuffed that is pretty "low" calories....IF I eat real whole foods. For…

increase your calories just a little. i was having the same issue (got to a certain weight and then the numbers just bounced up and down, but wouldn't go lower!) I increased my calories, 2 days later I was down 2 lbs lower than my lowest weight since starting MFP. then I lost 0.4 more. in the same week. going to keep this…

i would set myself as active, but then only log the exercise that i did that was really intense. like jogging, dancing, brisk walk/cardio. stuff that gets you out of breath and makes you sweat at least a little.
-
being "active" is what i'd choose. that should give you the calories you need, especially if you log other "planned" exercise and eat those calories back.
-
i second the apple with peanut butter AND the popcorn. Mmm Also, I love strawberries, fruit salad, watermelon, veggies and hummus, small salad, banana, pretzel sticks with hummus, hardboiled egg with salt and pepper, celery with almond butter/peanut butter, granola bars.

Even if your boyfriend didn't say anything to him right after it happened, or didn't create a scene or whatever.....that's fine. He should have went to him later, alone, and very calmly told him to stfu.
-
if anyone ever disrespected me like that, I wouldn't have time to ponder over it or wonder what this guy's problem was....b/c my husband would beat the **** out of him. At the very least, your boyfriend should be setting him straight by telling him to stfu. what does your boyfriend have to say about this?
