  • Oh... these most certainly are, love. SOOO evilly bad. They're called "Creamy Dreamy Grits"... made with heavy cream, butter, white cheddar... *sigh*... so good. But I avoided them! Success. The biscuit however, met HALF of its demise.
  • I KNOW!!!! Stupid biscuits... And the creamy dreamy grits... get out. So... yeah... thank goodness I won't be having those. :ohwell:
  • Love this...
  • My newest addictions are Lara Bars, turkey snack sticks, GeniSoy chocolate sweet crisps and Humbles in the Feta, Olive Oil and Lemon flavor... yum!!!
  • I think that, in general, when you take care of yourself, it causes the slightest twinges of guilt in those who don't. And we all know that hateration typically comes from envy. So, they try to make themselves feel as though THEY are making the better choices. Yes, we all die someday... but I don't want that day to be…
  • Salty. If I have something sweet, I often have to cap it off with something salty.
  • I really like Jackie Warner's power circuit training videos. Excellent strenth training but it's at such a fast pace, especially her power burns, that it counts as cardio too.
  • And thanks, Krystle. It's true. You are an infinite source of inspiration and wise comments. And you do discuss things other than BB. It's clear that you believe in what you do, but I have never felt that it's all you do. I do strongly dislike pressure situations caused by anyone, especially concerning money (because…
  • Thanks, megz! My daughter has autism, so I'm an Autism Speaks supporting fool!! It's a wonderful organization and they've helped my family, and others like ours, so much. I guess a cheat meal in honor of that isn't SOOOO bad...
  • I love to roll out reduced fat pillsbury crescent roll dough for it. It's perfect!
  • I think I hear the same thing that most of us ladies with weight to lose hear... "You could have such a pretty face..." My mother yo-yoed her whole life. I grew up with my father jokingly referring to her as a hippo. And my mother lacked understanding and merely WILLED me not to gain weight. When I did, she has made it…
  • That my daughter has a happy life... that I find success in a career that's meaningful for me... and finally that ice cream and pizza are health foods.
  • So glad you asked!! I'm making a Pinot Noir Pot Roast tonight with carrots, celery and potatoes. It's my favorite!!
  • Time Travel!! Thats my guess! I love it too.
  • My absolute favorite one is Personal Training with Jackie Warner. It's a 40 minute power circuit training video that I LOVE!!! I tried Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred, but I would rather have road rash than listen to Jillian.... Jackie makes sense, makes me work and makes me SUPER SORE the next day, even after two months of…
  • Yeah, I agree... I was hesitant to buy it because the bright colors turned me off. But I am a sucker for sweet tea. I agree with you that it took more than a little squirt to resemble the taste of tea (which I found especially odd because of all the labelling... "a little mio goes a loooooong way" and whatnot). And it is…

  • This is a great place to get your life organized!! I came here to lose weight, but along the way, I've picked up some pretty great life skills, great friends and an entirely new perspective. I know you will do great!! And if you ever need to vent or just hear a kind word, I'm here!
  • I take a metabolism support multi, Evening Primrose Oil, 5-HTP (morning and night), Coenzyme Q10, biotin, folic acid, B-6 with magnesium, L-Glutamine, probiotics and cod liver oil. 5-HTP is a big lifesaver for me... helps me sleep (which I struggle with), as well as controlling cravings.
  • I have to thank you for that. That's EXACTLY what I needed to hear. Turkey burger and veggies it is!!
  • EXACTLY!! hahaha... me too... my poor boyfriend is just opening the bedroom door, throwing the heating pad at me along with a few dark chocolate squares and running off. :explode:
  • I always actually GAIN up to 3 lbs during my TOM. But the good news is that I lose it all right after the first two or three days. So, I take it in stride. My bigger problem is fighting the cravings. Ugh... :grumble:
  • I used to work there. And I can tell you that the Capellini Pomodoro is a wonderful meal...light, vegetarian and won't break your calorie bank. Also, the minestrone and salad is a great way to start. Just beware the breadsticks!! Most of all, enjoy yourself! :flowerforyou:
  • Absolutely!! I am also amazed at the high calorie content of a banana, BUT they are incredibly sustaining. I honestly don't much like bananas but as a busy working mom on the go, I have been taking one with me for mid-morning snacks because they will get my metabolism back up, and hold me out for a long time. Worth the…
  • Curious to see what everyone says about this. I, personally, don't believe either are bad for you... it's more the toppings we use for them that cause trouble.
  • I get mine at Earth Fare (we are so lucky to have one right across the street since my daughter eats gluten and casein free). Any healthy market will probably carry them.
  • Yeah, they are definitely a treat (and probably not for low-carbers...). I find it hard to get good grains into my diet, so I was excited about them. They key here is their pure and utter chocolatey-ness. Outstanding stuff.
  • Well... SHOULD have been around 280 if it weren't for all that darn Pinot Grigio. :blushing:
  • The cals depend on the size of your fish, whether you use olive oil mayo, light mayo or regular mayo, and what you choose as your side (obviously). My meal last night included olive oil mayo, a HUGE piece of halibut and sauteed green beans with toasted sesame seeds... and my entire meal was around 280 cals.
  • I don't know but I am interested in seeing your answers. I am finally starting to fight my way out of my bottom .8 lbs, but I am afraid of just yoyoing back up again. It's incredibly frustrating when you're working so hard.
  • I ABSOLUTELY suck at it but it's so fun!! I'm so glad you said that... my ego took a beating... I THOUHT I was a decent dancer.......
