  • So Sorry... I'm 41....can never tell....great job on the future solicitor!!
  • I have lost 4lbs in 4 fasts, and even on my "regular" eating days, have maintained that loss. I am over the top, this is the first thing that has worked for me in about 2 years and I am pretty serious about my workouts, so thus far my problems have been in the kitchen. Any thoughts....I REALLY want to drop fat while…
  • Bad day here.... Should have fasted Mon. Thurs., but days off and dinner out had me switching to W F. So its Friday and so far I have had sugar free iced tea-Good.....and 4 sheets of graham crackers with World Market hazelnut spread-BAD. Now what do I do - already at 503 calories and still need to work out -deadlifts and…
  • Hi, I am Sarah This is my third week and I have lost 3 lbs. I am 40, 4'10" and weigh 137 today, my body fat is 32.1% So far so good, but I have been eating around 800 cals since I refuse to rest on fast days. I am doing a loose version of C25K and do 2 miles on the treadmill and then lift heavy weights for about 1 hr and…
  • I have the One. Really like it. When I got it there was no flex or zip. I do track my sleep, but kind of just for fun. I would probably go with the zip if I had the choice when I got it. I just bought the zip for my Hubby for Fathers day. I prefer either of them to the flex (without trying it though) because I can tuck it…
  • Hi all! I am 40, and 4'10". currently weigh 141. Goal weight is 110 ish and/or a body fat % of 20%. I am currently at 32% BF, so I have a way to go. I lift heavy 2-3 days a week and do cardio 2 days a week depending on my schedule. Last day of school, so it gets hard to work out for a couple months. Welcome to add me, I…
  • I don't know who needs a life more.....The person who started this thread, all the other people who combine their errands with working out, or ME who is usually still in my workout clothes when making dinner. I like all of us better
  • I'm in. Between Silver and gold now...diamond by the end of the month!!!
  • I believe you can enter them, or enter them as zero, really up to you....BUT your cut includes your workouts, and you will see your net calories on MFP either way. You should only eat back your calories as you have them set if you burn so many it nets you below BMR.
  • HUG HUG HUG!! I know how you feel! I keep hearing this is a process. Stick with it. The strength gains alone are a super way to track progress, though not visual (bummer I know). Great job on that. Lifting is such a great thing for your body, keep it up! How are your clothes fitting? Have you taken measurements or before…
  • bump... I I have been steadily gaining weight for some time while trying so hard to eat the "right way". I just looked back at my weigh ins through the last 2 years and I could not believe the difference. I am going back to just having something to drink in the morning and saving calories till later in the day. Interested…
  • Love fitbit one. Had the ultra when if first came out and the ONE is sooo much better. It tracks everything I need, sleep, cals steps, miles, flights of stairs and syncs with MFP and has an app for iphone and android. My husband is getting one for fathers day!! IMO better than body media because you can easily hide it. I…
  • bump, I could have written this post......
  • I only have 2 days, so I guess I am out of time. Where have those last 40 years gone!! Well I want to just be fit. I am 4'10" Stay at home mom of 2 boys, 8 and 5. Been here for a couple years and work out very consistently with heavy weights and cardio. Yet I have been slowly gaining. I guess my diet isn't great, but way…
  • Thanks all, looking for a few more suggestions. Might try the isopure no carb.
  • I would love to join in too. Been doing Stronglifts for quite some time now and was looking for a change since I was adding lifts anyway. I have the book and am looking through the beginning. I will rush through to the workouts to join you and start Tues. Then Tues. Thurs. Sat or sun. Friend me if you wish. I love the free…
  • Thank you all so much for the feeback!! I am recommitting to measuring and weighing my food. Since my kids are a bit older the scraps aren't such a problem - the real problem is a couple spoonfulls of Mac n Cheese before they even eat. So sick, but I love that fake orange "cheesy" stuff. I do log it though. Heybales,…
  • bump... been struggling with this myself. I am such a numbers geek, but it may be too much information. I do like the motivation though. some have suggested not linking MFP to the fitbit... but again I like the numbers too much even if it is confusing.
  • 1200 to 1800 does not seem like enough to eat AT ALL, especially on circuit days. Have you read through the "stickys" Start there, and do the scooby calculators to see what your BMR and TDEE are. I am confused too, but start there and see. Feel free to add me as a friend and we can figure this out together. You are in the…

  • I am with you!! I have been really bad lately, not tracking and not getting to the gym either. I am planning to restart with the new year (with everyone else!!) Feel free to add me if you want. Good luck I have exactly the same plan, so I hope it works for us!
  • Wow!! you look great! Thanks for the motivation.....I really need it right now. Keep up the awesome work. You are proof this does work, hope I can have that faith in the process soon and join all the wonderful people on here that have made awesome results for themselves!!
  • Thanks, I just downloaded the app. for those days I can't make it to work out!! Nice reccomendation.
  • I am in. I leave for a beach vaca on the 16th and I hope to get most of those 60 min in before that!
  • SO fun, Idid Warrior Dash last year and LOVED it. What a great day. I never really trained for it. I ran a bit. If you can get through the distance normally, the fun will pull you through most of it! My only advice- go play on a playground and get used to being so dirty it takes multiple showers to get you clean. Also wear…
  • this totally!! Me too And to top it all off besides the shiney new 20lbs. I feel a bit crazy some days. Thank you Mirena...Though I havent had a TOM in 5 years, so eh?......still rather be 20 lbs thinner.
  • Mee too! I am due to get it out next summer. Since I got it I have gained 20 lbs over the last 3 years eating the same if not better and working out a TON more. I am almost 40, but geez 20lbs! I am watching this to see how others have reacted to Mirena. Of course my DR. said absolutely no connection, but I think so.
  • Grew up in Birnamwood (I know, no one's ever heard of it) college in Oshkosh, and now live in Fond du Lac. Yay Wisconsin!
  • I am short too!!! Barely ever see women this short....Love it!! Been here for almost 2 years and really not making prgress. A bit lower body fat, but no weight loss. I am 39, 4'10" and 131 now. Just went back down to 1200 and eating my exercise cals.....I have been lifting heavy weights for about 6 weeks and really…
