I upped my incline for w6d2 and it was rough. I still got through it. Last 5 minutes of the second run I thought I might lose it, but then the podcast said, " Week 2, you just finished your run, time for your 5 minute cool down", HEY! YEAH! Then, as I have been trying to do, I walked 3 minutes cool down, then ran one more…

Finished W6d1 tonight! It was hard because I kept having issues...first I was wearing the wrong bra. Then my hairtie broke (I have LONG THICK hair, impossible to run with it flopping around!) Then, I tried a new podcast and it SUCKED. So I had to stop to fix things twice, but I waited until walking time to do it, so I…

Allie, I have NEVER run before in my LIFE. Last night, I ran for TWENTY MINUTES! It was crazy! And I didn't die! I'm starting week 6 tomorrow, so it is SO doable. Get some GOOD shoes, learn some good stretches. I'm doing a 5 k April 30 and I can't wait! Good luck!!

OMG I did it too!! W5d3 was HARD but I managed to think of it in little chunks and I made it though! Hubby said "If you can push out 3 babies with no drugs, you can run 20 minutes!" HE was right!! My ankles hurt after the halfway point, but I started thinking, 10 minutes, 7 minutes, that's like NOTHING in everyday life.…

whoops that didn't work right, sorry!!!

So I completed W5D2 (5 wlk, 8 run 5 walk 8 run 5 walk)! It wasn;t as hard as I thought, because I have a strained shin muscle (not splints) and I was concerned. I am wondering about D3, because the jump from 8 minutes to 20 is HUGE! I'm not counting myself out, though! 5 weeks ago I couldn't run for the 60 seconds!! I also…

You sound about right, I run a little slower, but I'm not a fast runner. I heard 3.5 is the "ideal" brisk walk. But I guess it depends on your leg length!!

To Heather shrinking! Try to run on your toes/balls of your feet. You're not actually supposed to put your foot ALL the way down, but i do when i need a little break. *keepin' me on my toes :)* I just finished w5d1!! I was feeling a little discouraged after last week, a had 2 difficult runs (once for running too soon after…

darn, forgot Ran at 4.8 Walked at 2.5-3 (I tend to walk slower when I have a longer walk, partially to get in a good drink without spilling it all over)

Great job everyone! To those who think they've "failed", there isn't fail unless you quit. If you have a bad run, try again. If you don't feel confident in your week, do another day, or just re-do it! There is no rule that says you can't re-do a week or a day. Do what feels good to you!! I ran today, w4d3. I forgot to eat…

Oh and I walk at about 3.5 and run anywhere from 4.7-5.0

Hi! I just joined and I'm on W4D3. I start sunday and then run twice more during the week. This week i ran monday too. I also do ZUmba on Tuesdays. I follow cool running podcasts. I don't know if I've lost any weight, my scale is broken. I'm afraid of week 5, we run for 25 minutes on the last day, and I'm not sure I'm…
