What he is saying is in some cases it can be other things causing the soreness (so in the IT band example, if you have weak glute med, you can roll…

Apple is a great snack, fills me up, sweet, good energy. I purposely look for bags of small apples at the store as it usually suffices the need at smaller calorie consumption I second the discouragement of nuts, 3 tablespoons of peanuts, 170 cals! 3 tablespoons ... cant even take the edge off!

I was sort of thinking the same as Bat S*** crazy Vivian. It probably wasnt her example of integrity and coping skills he hope his future kids to see as a model.

I agree with this. There are many family situations like this that your friend should be able to understand your predicament (you dont have to like your sister in law but you have to be nice at Thanksgiving dinner).

Sorry, with all due respect, get your act together, you are sending out the wrong message (or there is a little John Grisham (fiction) in your prose).

I bought fake NFL jerseys for my kids from China, $22 vs $120. I live in Pittsburgh and 1/2 the kids wardrobes are NFL jerseys. My 8yr asked for a stitched jersey for Xmas because his classmates said they are more valuable than screened (LOL, couldnt believe it). Plus, when the player gets traded, they wont were them, with…

At 22 and dating mode, I think all was relatively fine with this romance. As people should always grow in life, you started to figured out what is important to you and its not consistent to the relationship now. At 30+ when you met, he already figured what he wanted in life, and its okay for him to feel that way. The…

I love it because nothing gets in the way of it, life always happens but rarely at 5:15am. I'd pick 30degs over 80degs, and 0 over 100 Running in the single digits on either side of the 0 mark (not counting windchill) this week hasnt been that bad. I have the right layers and coverage, my face (whats showing) has been fine. When it did dawn on me running that it really wasnt that bad .... the thought of 90,…

Enjoy tonight, enjoy your friends and conversation and get ready for a new food chapter for you. You may not get what you usually like, but you may find something that you enjoy, can copy at home, and can help you continue your intended path. A nutritionist told me "when in doubt, stick to proteins and veggies". My 1 tip-…

Hey, good luck with the surgery. I did crossfit hard for 2 years and barely lost weight even though I felt strong. I was talking to a friend who said diet was 80% of weight loss.... I remembered it when I came here. I started tracking, ate to the recommended macros (not be a hero and be super low), the weight came off. I…

My Cross training is simple exercises, For 50 secs on, 15 secs break 3-4times. I am a friendly complimenter in life, I hug my friends (probably guys more than girls) however in the gym/exercise situation, I am careful Compliments there are body related and I really dont EVER want to make someone feel uncomfortable. So I error on the side of caution and not being a "creep". Here on MFP, I really like…
