After lunch on the days I'm home with my kids (which is right now). They are napping, I'm having some down time (Netflix), and the need to snack creeps up on me. I just had a jarrah hot chocolate and am distracting (and motivating) myself with MFP forums.

Thanks everyone, some great ideas here! I'm in Australia so don't have some of the products mentioned but I'll look into buying PB2 online. I usually have more calories leftover for snacks, but I was saving them for wind that night... Priorities, right?

90 grams isn't too bad. I felt like something that needed chewing, to try and make it last longer!

You were right. I went with 30g of hummus and some celery sticks. 42 calories.

I wore a dress today, with no chafe preventing shorts or creams or powders, and I didn't chafe! It was hot and humid today and I took almost 10000 steps in it. Amazing!

I admit I am not yet doing any resistance training, but it is on my to do list. I have done some lifting in the past, and I naturally have a very strong and athletic build, so have a fair amount of muscle already, it's just not all that visible right now! I will keep trying to up my protein. It has been a challenge,…

Great! Thank you! And I definitely have hungry days, and I eat more!

That is a huge success! Your lung function would still be decreased from smoking, I'm sure. I quit 8 years ago, and I definitely wasn't running 3 months later! I was wrong on my previous post as well, I was up to my 22 min run. I did that this morning, looks like week 7 is 25 mins each day. It's going to be tough!

Woo hoo! We can all do it! I have my 25 min run tomorrow. I can do it!

252 pounds (5'10). I am doing couch to 5km. I was puffed after each running interval. Yesterday I completed week 5 which was a 20 minute run! And I felt great. My weight is down to 230 pounds now.

I was a snacker previously, and during previous weight loss attempts (which were successful in terms of losing weight, just not keeping it off - I just never quite to goal and then regained). This time I am not snacking as much. I have breakfast, lunch, sometimes an afternoon snack depending on how busy I am. Then I have…

I'm sticking to my daily allowance (set to 1kg loss per week) but not eating back many of my exercise calories. I've also had at least one social occasion each week where I've had too much to eat and drink. I really don't think I'm being too aggressive, rather I have a lot to lose (start weight was 252 pounds) and the…

Thanks! You should definitely get back into it. I'm really enjoying it, I felt so good on my jog this morning. I do need new shoes though! I have tight Achilles and end up with shin splints when I try and compensate.

Wow! Such amazing transformations, so inspiring! I am 5'10 and my start weight was 252 pounds, current weight 230 pounds and goal weight 175 pounds. That's not quite in my BMI range but the last time I got under 180 pounds I was very happy with my body.

You look amazing! Well done. Especially for the 4:30am work outs!

Woah! You look incredible. Perhaps I should show your photo to my Greek husband to inspire him! Then I can have my very own Greek Spartan

It's definitely the right time for you to post your success story! You look great! Well done.

Well done! You can definitely see a difference. I've lost 10kg in my first 6 weeks, MFP works!

Well done! You are looking good!

Thank you! I really feel like I do this time. I'm going to make it all the way to my goal!
